Do You See What I See?
Do You Hear What I Hear
Said the night wind to the little lamb,
do you see what I see
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy,
do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy,
do you hear what I hear
A song, a song, high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
do you know what I know
In your palace warm, mighty king,
do you know what I know
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring Him silver and gold
Let us bring Him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere,
listen to what I say
Pray for peace, people everywhere!
listen to what I say
The Child, the Child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
Well, I didn’t end up going roller skating today. Argh. Colleen and her mom had her nephews over, though she didn’t know this prior to when they arrived, and they’re sleeping over, so she had to cancel. Oh, well. I’ll go at some other point. So instead, I went to FunTime and played two games of DDR.
Before that, though, I was cleaning my room, (sort of,) and cleared off my desk so that I could assemble my little Christmas tree on top of it. So, I did that, and I have it mostly decorated now. I’m still waiting to put the tinsel on it.
I love how it looks. I love the lights. And I was wrapping gifts today, too. Mike’s, Mike Keller’s, Shannon’s . . . And I saw the cutest thing at Hallmark that I have to pick up for Mike. As soon as I get my paycheck next week, I’m gonna pick it up for him.
Let’s see. This week, I have to wake up for the morning shift tomorrow, Monday, and Wednesday, I’m off Thursday, and should be of Saturday, and work the afternoon Tuesday and Friday. As always. I’m glad tomorrow’s a double shift, though. It measn I get to leave at three, instead of staying there the rest of the day.
::Sighs:: It’s approaching the time that Rusty started really going downhill and everything happened with Jason. I can’t believe it’s been a year. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.
Argh. I don’t want to think about these things so close to Christmas. And now, I don’t know what I’m doing on Christmas itself because Mike doesn’t want to see his full family, (I can’t blame him,) but if by some miracle, his mom actually does come to NJ for Christmas, I refuse to go up to his dad and grandma’s. And he said that he’d actually stay with me if I was adamant in that decision. I did tell him flat out, if he wants to see his immediate family, go up and see them. It’s not like I’m his only way to get up there. He has other methods. Dan could drive him, if nothing else.
I don’t know. ::Sighs::
Ugh my comp is having problems..srry didn’t mean to just get offline like that..ttyl
