Christmas Smiley!!!!!

Wow, it’s sad that Christmas is two days short of a month away, and I’m going this nutty for it already.  Lol.  Oh, well.  I LOVE Christmas!!!!  I can’t wait till it gets here!  I still need to get gifts for about five or six people, but hey, that’s okay.  I’ll do it with my next paycheck.

We have a new person over at the dollar store.  She’s pretty cool.  We were talking about music, and high school, and other stuff yesterday.  I coudn’t believe it.  For Black Friday, and all the horror stories I’ve heard about how crowded every store is and all, it was actually really slow.  But hey, that’s okay.  But argh, I guess no one’s done the mopping and stuff since I last did it, near Halloween, so I had to do it last night.  But it was okay.  I don’t really mind doing it, and besides, it kept me busy, and kept me from being bored behind the register.

Oh, I also decided something.  I’m going to post a different Christmas song in the box thingy to the side for each day of December until Christmas itself.  I wonder if I can find Twenty four Christmas songs . . .  Lol.  I’m just gonna type them up myself, too, cuz it’s too much trouble finding them online.

I’ve actually asked Angela’s, Shannon’s, and Andy’s help on a novel I’m writing.  It’s a story based on a note I saw on Melanie’s confessions entry.  The enire novel is a series of letters, E-mails, and IM’s between the main character named Ruby, and her three best friends, Amber, Mychael, and Nikki.  And based on that, I decided I wanted to pick three people to be Amber, Mychael, and Nikki, and to write their parts, because that way, instead of getting my voice in three different ways, you get three different voices.

Anyway, it’s a favorites only diary for right now, but when the story is done, I’m gonna clean it up, organize the entries to the correct order for the story, and send it to a publisher.  Once it is done, though, and posted in the correct order, anyone who sees this entry, leave me a note if you want to read it.  I’m gonna be a lot more choosy about who I pick for this one, though, so if I don’t really know you, please don’t be insulted if you’re left off.

Blah . . .  I can’t believe I was up at nine after going to bed at three.  And it’s only quarter after ten now . . .

Mike has this card game tournament thingy he’s in, and he doesn;t tell me until last night, (albeit, around eleven,) that it’s not over at Game Factory, that nice walkable distance.  No, instead, I have to wake up, too, and drive him over to Mike Keller’s at nine freakin’ o’ clock in the morning.  I hate getting up early . . .

At least I’m off today, though.  I’m glad about that.  It gives me less hours than I was expecting, but it also gives me a day off where I can work on my room.  And I do need to finish it.  The only thing that sucks is, Mike and I were gonna have a movie night this Friday, and I gotta cancel it.  I can’t get off work that night, and I don’t know what Mike’s schedule is.  So, argh.  But I’ll plan another one, probably on a Thursday, during everyone’s winter break.  That way, no one’ll have to worry about classes.
