Bleh . . .

My Mood:

Okay, so my ankle has been a pain in the ass to me since Saturday, I think it was.  And today it’s just been worse.  But the story gets better.  I had to work today at four.  So that means that I was constantly up and walking, or driving.  All in all, does not make for happy ankle.  On the upside, I made thirty bucks in tips.  That’s pretty good for a slow day.  And I saw a house that not only had their own private property sign, but they had a speed bump in their driveway!  How cool is that?

Then, the manager let me leave at about eight-fifteen, I went home, and asked if the consultant thingy place to do with the gym had called.  Mom said no, so I figured I’d go down to Barnes and Noble, get the last volume of Alice 19th, and then go down to the gym and say that I want a refund of the sixty that I paid in cash.

So, I got two volumes, the last Alice one, and the fourth in Revolutionary Girl Utena.  I believe there’s only five in that series, thank God.  Then I went to the gym, explained what had happened to the receptionist who was there, and said that I’d like my money back.  Well, she didn’t know if she could do that and she went through the computer, looked up my number and all that, and even on the computer, it said the bill had been paid on April first.  She called someone else over to the front desk, he looked at the receipt, and noticed something neither of us had.  There was a different name on the receipt.  Thanks to the incompetence of the one who took my money and gave me the receipt in the first place, I apparently ended up paying someone else’s dues!

Anyway, I gotta call that consultation number again or whatever tomorrow and hopefully they can straighten the whole damned mess up.  And through this month and next if I have to, I’m saving up money and switching over to the one year plan.  That way, it’s a bit less per month and I’ll only be signed up to the gym for one year instead of three.

Unfortunately, I didn’t save any of my tips tonight like I wanted to.  I got food and manga.  ::Sighs::  I will save up!  I promise!  Somehow, I’m gonna have two thousand dollars by July 15th!  It’ll be a lot easier to manage, admittedly, once the park opens up during the day.

Bleh . . .  Okay, I’m gonna go.  I got nothing more to write on and half a sub waiting for me over there.
