Birthday Blues. And Greens. And Pinks.

Lol.  No, I’m not depressed.  Though I know I’ve been absolutely horribleabout writing in here for the past week or two.  I’ve been pouring everything into E-mails to Whitney, instead of on here.

Anyway, today, July 16th 2005, is my twenty third birthday.  Geez, I feel old!  Anyway, I woke up at about 11:30, since Mike and I wanted to make plans to go horseback riding.  But when he called the first place I wanted to go to, they were only open from ten to two.  (Silver Bit and Spur, the one with unguided trail rides.  I definitely wanna do that one.)  So I figured okay, let’s try Circle A.  Mike tried calling about three times, and when he finally got trough, it became apparent that he was calling the wrong number!  Lol.  So when we called the right one, we got directions, I’d put in a reservation, but then Mike chickened out on me, saying how it was supposed to rain and all this today.

He cancelled the reservation and we were debating going to the mall. But then I remembered wanting to check out Dark Water.  So we found out the times for that, and went to the four-twenty showing.  It was good, but don’t be fooled by the ads.  It’s nowhere near the horror movie that they make it out to be.

After that, we came home and had a little ice cream cake/log thing my parents got.  And they gave me a book, (a collection of Linda McCartney photographs,) and an alarm clock, since my old one is M.I.A..  Matt and Mary gave me twenty bucks, which was nice.  And I decided, "Okay, you know what?  I want the sixth Harry Potter book."  So after cake, Mike and I went to the K-mart/Pathmark plaza.  I told him to check out K-mart and I went to Pathmark.  I’d heard they were where I was heading, and Mom insisted she’d seen them where Mike was going.  Simple plan: whichever store they had them in, the one who found them bought it.

Well, they were at both, but Pathmark was cheaper, so I picked it up.  I’ve started reading, I’m over a hundred pages in, and I’m hooked.  As a matter of fact, I think I’m gonna pick it up when I’m done with this entry.

Oh, my drawing’s going well, for my web comic.  I’m testing out the new colored markers I got today by drawing up and coloring the front page for the month of October.  Everyone’s in costume, so I can test them out rather nicely.  I have the main characters dressed as Elphaba and Glinda.  It’s gonna be a really fun chapter to draw out, I think.

Oh, and also, I’d just like to say thanks!!! once again to Shannon and Melanie.  Shannon called me a little after noon to wish me happy birthday and Melanie IMed me when I was on about an hour after that.  So, thanks guys!!!!!!  Oh, yeah.  And Shannon, if you read this before tomorrow, my mom wanted to take me out to dinner for my birthday, so I gotta come to the play next weekend.  But I will come.  I like that play.

Okay, so I’m gonna get going.  I am glad of one thing.  Mike and I are still gonna go horseback riding on Monday at Silver Bit and Spur.  I can’t wait.  I love the idea of being on a non-guided trail ride.
