Ashamed . . . ?

So often, I see people, or pictures of people, in groups, at BBQ’s, or just out at a diner, or bar, or wherever. They’re all friends, even if a few only know one another by sight. But still, they all talk and laugh and have fun.

I can’t remember the last time I did something like that.

I don’t have a huge plethora of friends, but I do have a couple who always seem to be going places and doing things, and have a large group. But I’m never invited to join in.

And that got me thinking . . . What if they don’t invite me because they’re ashamed of me? Because I’m as different as I am?

::Sighs:: I know I’m screwed up. I just wish that there was a way someone could help me pick up the pieces. But nobody even seems to realize how broken I still am.

I am a bit like U Scared at social occasions. Frightened of groups. Had no friends as a child. Bit better when I was working / Work socialisation. Playing a role others see u as beeing. I know mayny people of all ages are scared socialy if they have low opinion of themselves or low in ego ! Others dont relate to u if u are not playing a role Be what u wantto be.Act a part or role socialy

Usualy people with social problems such as cant mix with others or make friends is associated with other inborn or family problems from their childhood or teens.That they are not even aware of ? I can be called sociophobia. Look it up on the net ! Most have never heard of this situation or term Even Doctors Blessings

Me too. It’s worst on Facebook I think. Because EVERYONE has tons of pictures with them and all their friends. I don’t have any, and the lack is right there for everyone to see. *HUG* I don’t know you, but I know you don’t have to stay broken.

ryn on SR: I posted it over at an Alan Rickman message board and someone got incredibly offended, all “Alan would NOT approve and it was slanderous, blahblahblah…” about the entry before I reiterated. I just sat there thinking, “Are you that stupid?” I mean, first off, she thought that Rickman actually has time to patrol the internet. Then she thought that he’d sue over something this bizarre…Frankly, sometimes I think I’m one of his only fans that acknowledges his intelligence and sense of humor. ~
