700th Entry — Harry Potter, Number 6

EXCEPT FOR STATING THAT YES, A CHARACTER IS KILLED, THERE ARE NO SPOILERS IN THIS ENTRY.

Stupid space limitation.  I wasn’t able to write, "700th Entry — Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince."

Okay, so.  While I know this says the 18th, it’s actually about three-thirty in the morning on the seventeenth.  Anyway.  After stupidly going to . . . oh, duh, that’s why her name was . . .  Okay, anyway.  After stupidly going to a random diary that said something about Voldemort, I happened across an entry of this person’s, warning of spoilers for the sixth book.  Of course, I read it anyway and I found out who dies!!!!  I was only about three hundred fifty pages from the end anyway, so I decided to finish it myself.  I’m not going to give any spoilers out, though.  This book’s too good to spoil, it really is.  I’m not sure where I would rate it among the other five, but things are definitely getting darker.

I just can’t believe . . .  I mean, how could he . . . ?  After all that . . .  Eurgh . . .

Okay, I’m over it.  Well, no, I’m not.  But still.  Gaack!!  I can’t believe who she killed!!!

I wish more people I knew had read the book already . . .

Oh, well.  Mike and I are still planning on going horseback riding tomorrow, so I may just add that adventure onto here.  In fact, I will.  I’ll make this public when I get back tomorrow night.

July 18th, 2005

Okay, so, we did go horseback riding.  It was fun.  Finding the place was a bit of an adventure itself.  But it’s a fairly straightforward route, so I was glad about that.  It’s actually easy to get to, so I’m looking forward to going again.

Anyway, we got there a little late, and the girl introduced us to the horses we’d be riding.  I was on a mare named Rosa and Mike was on a male named Einstein.  After we mounted, the girl walked us over to where the trail started and we headed off.  We didn’t get very far, though, because Mike’s horse was leading and he kept stopping to eat some of the shrubbery/grass around the trail.  It wasn’t quite the horseback riding adventure I was looking forward to, but I think it was worth going.

We had a little direction fiasco on the way bac, but didn’t get lost, amazingly enough.  I’m still waiting to see if we’;re gonna go out to dinner at the Cornucopia in Keyport.  I pretty much hope we do.  I love this broiled flounder stuffed with crabmeat dish that they have.

I think I’m gonna go and work more on my webcomic thingy.  I have a page uploaded, so I’m gonna post it here soon.  Give opinions.  (By the way, it’s very simply drawn.  No real shadowing, and it’s supposed to take after anime style stuff.  While they have perspective down pat, the two dimensional look can’t be denied.)
