I got the Ford Escort tonight!!!  My parents, Mike, and I went down there after my mom got back from work.  We settled everything, and I just have to take care of the insurance switch tomorrow so that I can officially drive it.  Yay!!!  So, anyway, yeah, that’s really cool.  I can’t wait to start accessorizing it.  Lol.  I need to transfer the dice, and the smiley flower, and the tapes, oh! the tape deck sounds incredibly nice, and the best part is, while it’s rewinding, it switches over to the radio.  So, how nice is that?  I need to find out how I can set the station to the numbers, but I can ask that when I go back for the plates and whatnot in about a week.

On the upside, he forgot to take out the hundred that I’d put down as a deposit, so he’s gonna give me a check for that tomorrow, I’m gonna give that to my mom, and I’ll keep the remainder of the other hundred that she gave me, because I didn’t have to put anything else down on the car.  They knew I was coming for it.

So, that’s good.  Tomorrow, assuming I have time before work, I’m gonna go to a couple of stores, and see if I can pick up a new pair of sneakers.  Plus, how cool is this? they have Beatle boots at K-mart again!!!  I haven’t seen them there since I was about fourteen!  So, yeah, I’m buying a pair of them, and sneakers.  Then the rest, I’ll save.

And November starts when I’ll be paying my mom back for the car.  I just have to make it through Mike Keller’s surprise party.  I have everything set up, I just have to get the things done, and pray that Mike Keller himself accepts that someone has doen this for him.  Because I have no idea how he’ll react to this.  I hope, hope, hope that it’s a positive reaction, but . . .  I don’t know.  I hate that in this whole thing, he is the biggest X factor, the biggest unreliable, unguessable one.  I just hope Matt asked him, and that he’ll show up.  ::Crosses fingers::  I’ve gotta have faith in Matt.  And I do.  I’ve gotta E-mail him in the next week or so, and make sure he did ask him.  Or maybe just E-mail him and ask him to let me know when he asks, and what Mike Keller says.  Lol.  Yeah, I’m not nervous.  Heh . . .

Somehow, I’ll pull this off for him.  I know that.  And I have a new car to drive to FunTime!!!  Yay!!
