Today my entire freaking self-esteem was shattered by someone saying that with the time I have at the computer and my subject matter, I should easily have pumped out 1k words per hour.
Fantastic. Fan-bloody-tastic.
Maybe I should just route that into challenge mode. Or maybe I’ll just got back to bed. Wrong side of the bed…. Must reset.
*sputter* 1k/hour?! I’m lucky if, while writing for OD, I can get 5,000 characters out in six hours! Mwerr! Go kick his ass!

Is this person doing NaNo? Either way, eff them. By their logic, with the time I spend on the computer, I should be DONE with my novel by now. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy and if it was, it wouldn’t be half as much fun. So yeah. Eff them.
