SO yeah. So much junk as happened since I’ve been here. Feb sure has been a craptastic month. Feb 4th the laundry room at the shelter caught on fire. No one was hurt thank god. That night we moved over 100 animals. That weekend we had to find places for everyone to go. A boarding kennel offered their empty kennels to us. They turned out to be pretty shisty. They were calling places and asking them to provide free lunch for them. Just stupid stuff like that. So we had to move the dogs again. They also gave me a $5000 bill. I’m still in shock over that – you volunteer your space – I provide staff, food, cleaning supplies, everything that you might need.. and you give me a crazy bill. We are a non- profit agency. Plus not to mention someone stole the copper wire from our building. I did get a title change. Get ready. …… to. .. shelter manager.
