Year End Entry

I haven’t written here in very many months.  I reckon I should add something before 2006 is completely gone.  Life has been busy.  Son #2 moved back home for a number of months after graduation and is moving out this week.  Son #1 has been visiting but is leaving again today.
Haven’t had much winter weather but I did knit my daughter a lovely 2 coloured scarf out of some chenille yarn that I got from a swap.  I realized that I don’t really want to learn to spin because I am more interested in focussing on getting reused or second hand yarn at the moment.
I wrote a second knitting related zine, it is a min accordion style zine called Knittivism and I hope that I will write more like that as material comes along.
I thought that there weren’t going to be any knitting related gifts under the tree for me this year but I did get the circular needle that I wanted for some of the beaded knitting that I do from time to time. 
I haven’t worked much lately on the strips for son #4’s blanket, it is getting rather dull but oh well.  I haven’t done anything on my poor long suffering shawl for even longer. 
However, I may get the hat I am doing for the Dulaan project finished before the end of the week as I have started the decrease rows.
Well, I guess that’s it for now.  May 2007 bring happiness and health to you all.
