trying to catch my breath

It’s been a rough couple of weeks and it’s not over yet. My husband is finally on the mend after a bad round of asthma and then pneumonia:(  And just when my dh was finally on the mend and life was starting to return to "normal", my father fell on his face in the staples’ parking lot and injured his shoulder and his knee.

I’ve been getting lots of knitting done sitting in ER treatment rooms, accompanying people for x rays etc.

I just started the decreases on this hat:

I can’t find a non ravelry location for the hat pattern.

[ETA:  OD kept giving me error messages and saying it couldn’t save this post.  I so I kept trying to save it and the result was that by the 19th there were 4 copies of the same entry!!!!]
