old and cranky

My dear old friend who writes as Torin on OD got a facebook so i decided I would join too.  However, I feel like a 20th century techno dinosaur.  I don’t want to network really, I just wanted to look at the pics of Torin’s kids and granddaughter.  I’m much more interested in craft communities, that’s just where I am just now.  I should add that my daughter has head lice and I am exausted, creeped out and sick to death of peering through her hair looking for eggs and newly hatched bugs.

I did finish a dish cloth that is meant as a wedding present for the end of this month but had to be given to my son to take with him to the wedding and i think he is leaving town again next week.
I need to cast on something new but my brain is not very functional just now.  I think I’ll just work on the hat I have on the needles already.  I really want to start a freeform knitting piece that I will add to every day for a year.  I ‘m thinking the summer solstice next week would be a good time for that.
