Go Team Nova Scotia!!!!
My youngest son, son #4, who is 15, flew out this morning with his 17 teammates and about 60 other NS athletes and managers and coaches on their way to the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse. He is an epee fencer. He has been training and working towards this for more than a year. My second son went to CWG 4 years ago and my husband went in 1971, yes both also as fencers.
I have been knitting. I finished a really nice bright red lacy patterned dish cloth. The dulaan tube hat is more than half way done. I continue to knit ATCs. I signed up for another dish cloth swap too. Don’t tell anybody but I am going to swap a cloth that I already have made. It’s a crazy cloth swap, meaning there has to be at least 4 different colours or colourways in the cloth. It just so happens that I already have one like that:)
I also read a knitting related novel: The Friday Night Knitting Club. It wasn’t fabulous fiction but it was better than most of the other knitting related works of fiction that I have read.
Gooooooo Nova Scotia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
