bits and pieces

I like twitter because it is short and sweet.  I tend to get maudlin or pompous IMO if I ramble at length.  I just made myself a second twitter account and a second gmail account so that I can actually post totally anonymously if I want:)  Not sure what the point of that is but sometimes I just feel like expressing an opinion without worrying about offending people, planting word seeds like guerilla gardening, who knows what will grow in people’s hearts and minds:)

finally got an answer for the woman who spins that awesome eyeball yarn and she is still making and selling it, I’ll try to grab a skein on tuesday which will be the first tuesday of april!!!

My oldest sweet (no longer a) baby boy is getting married next month.  so is my dear friend’s oldest dd, she is marrying her sweetie who is the dad of her darling little boys and a great dad to her dd.

My #1 ds and (by then she will be:)) my dil will be coming out here in the end of may/beginning of june.  By the end of april I should have news to share too about my ds #2 but for now that isn’t my story to tell. but he did get his new car yesterday (black ford focus).

The weather was spectacularly horrid and wintry yesterday, I hope we are almost at the end of winter for real this time.

Dd has her ballet exam next friday and now she has a nasty cough and cold, hurray for that.

Dh is back from London UK and isn’t scheduled to do any traveling in the year future, he has been away so many times since the beginning of the year that I have actually lost track.

I put my back out last weekend and my stomach has been on strike too but I am feeling a bit better today.

April is finish it month on one of the knitting lists I am on, I plan to finish a baby hat and the felted doll.  I started the first arm of the doll and just have to finish the arms and then do the sewing together, felting and finishing, I should be able to do that before the end of the month.

I am following this site now, links to some fairly crazy knitting (and crochet too) pieces/projects:)

ETA: i managed to buy a skein of that wonderful eyeball yarn:)  Today I discovered that those canadian silver dollar coins (1958, 1960, 1967 & 1982) that I have had kicking around forever,  just might be worth enough to cover the cost of that yarn with some coffee money left over:)
