ryn(s): heh, you’re right, i won’t know if it’s worth it or not until i get it. how come nobody pointed it out? hm, do you know, in Singapore, teachers carry back truckloads of gifts from students on Teachers’ Day? I mean the sch teachers… Even when teachers tell students they shouldn’t get them anything, it still happens. my friend had to cab home coz she had 2 big bags of goodies… (cont.)

(cont.) Sounds insane right? you mean HK teachers don’t get these lil’ surprises from students? (a friend who’s teaching in Korea also says she gets nothing from her students. weird.) ha, despite all the sweet lil’ gifts teachers get, the stress level for teachers here is really high, so the turnover rate is as high. These once-a-year treats still don’t work wonders. 😀
