The pressure is off but the heat is on!!
🙂 Since my decision to just do my thing and enjoy the thon without worrying about raising money or impressing folk, I feel so much happier about getting on with my thing.
Oh yes, the pressure is off for sure but … the heat is on. I sat all evening last night and again this morning planning and plotting. I still need to do character profiles so that they become realistic people but I think I have a plot that could keep folk on board. It might be a bit ‘too much’ but we’ll see. We’ll see.
I have a burning in the pit of my belly. I’m sitting here wobbling my legs from excitement like a kid jumping up and down on sports day. I want to get on with this tale.
Sure – I’m still scared about all the normal things, ie not being able to write something engaging, convincing or even mildly interesting. Getting that blank-ness that I often get after a full day of thinking what I could write on OD. I then open my laptop and …. nothing. Not a word. Oddly enough, its just like that too when I want to write to friends.
I want to get on with this now, but….S has clients coming to the house this afternoon and I need to make sure that it is looking spanky clean and welcoming. Am very proud of S and all the workhe is doing. He has another contract with another chocolate company. How ironic that he is now making money from the product that is my downfall. 🙂
Must be off.

how about basing your characters on OD people. You don’t need to name names, but they do say you should write ‘what you know about’… so if you could put OD people in, you’d have a clearer picture of how they would react in the circumstances you put them in…. Just an idea…. Ihope I’m around… I’d love to read what you write…
