Plugging the Heart – 9.30am

Or the British Heart Foundation to be more precise.

I can’t blog for the British Heart Foundation without plugging them in some way during these 24 hours. Think of this as being like an advertisement slot.

Why did I choose the BHF?

Because each and every one of us has a heart.
Each and every one of us mistreats our heart in some way.
Each and every one of us may one day need assistance to our hearts.

I look around me.

My father has Attrial Fibrillation for which he needs medication – this is an irregularity with the heart beat itself.

My mother has a heart mumur.

My cousin was born with a serious heart defect. Valves in the wrong place, back to front. He should have lived a question of days – we were blessed with him for 18 years.

My friend was born with a serious heart defect. She brought us joy and pleasure for 28 years.

My grandmother has just been given a pace-maker.

Three of my uncles have had heart attacks.

My own heart beats wildly sometimes. Likely that we’ll discover Attrial Fibrillation – is hereditary you know, but it’ll be just fine for the moment thank you.

Thanks to the work of the BHF, families are given a chance to help their children see another day. Children are given the chance to keep their mothers or father a little longer.

Give life a chance, support the British Heart Foundation if you can:

I was curious why you choose this particular charity. The heart is such a vital organ and this does seem like such a worthwhile cause.
