P is for Procrastination 01.18

I am the queen of procrastination in all its forms.

I have promised a story which I got excited about and ranted about and actually, I worked my butt of reseaching and planning and preparing and and and… am I procrastinating again? You reckon?

Ah, yes probably. Half way through I got scared and tired and grumpy and it was all normal really because my stress levels has been so high and I didn’t sleep last night. I was checking the clock every ten minutes, so much so that Sean started checking the clock with me and then the dog started the checking the clock or whatever she was doing.   We were like three bobbing parrots in that bed last  night.

Procrastinating, again?

yeah ok.  you see – that damned story is the whole reason why I couldn’t tell any one about the blog, because I knew it would be rubbish, and then it was and then ……

Subtle Alliance and JustK, bless them, have asked me to finish. so I must. Because they invested a lot of woman hours into reading this trash while I was writing it.

You know, if I were to park my butt and write – pure write – instead of note hunting, blog searching and general surfing, I could get it finished by 7am.

If I were to stop procrastinating with a capital P!!!

orange juice is what I need. I have a story to write.

😉 Heard that one before?  its like when I say "I have a lesson to plan" and then end up doing it five minutes before the kids come through the door.

🙂

Well, you’re supposed to update every half hour. You won’t get kicked for missing one post or posting it late, but it’s best if you keep up.

Mia, there is no one, not a single soul that knows better what it is like when a task, that was once innovative & full of promise, turns into being a big chore. Don’t abandon this story completely. Keep it somewhere and perhaps, down the road, finish it when the mood hits. It is an interesting story, though, There are things I am curious about, especially with the brother’s shunning ofhis parents. Still, don’t feel like you HAVE to finish.
