Anyone know Calimèro?

They watch him here in Begium and France – I think he’s Italian.  He’s a little duck who’s hardly hatched out of his shell who wanders around complaining about how everything is "trop injuste". Its what we say to people here who sit down and complain about their lives.

That’s me right now. Calimèro. Bonjour.

I’m probably being completely unfair but I’m disappointed. Last year, when I was reading and noting bloggers during the thon, I felt there was a sense of community.

Don’t get me wrong, there probably has been today but I’m on the B schedule and it seems that many of our bloggers use LiveJournal or other blogs which I somehow just don’t get or need to register to if I want to leave a note.

And then, well, I thought we were supposed to have a monitor. Remember the famous John? Well as a further insult from destiny, the famous John was an A schedule monitor who saw me not updating and who then had me thrown of the blogathon list – despite it saying clearly on my front page what time I would blogging from – in Europe and the US. This without a note or an email to warn me.

And now, I’m not the B List apparently, but I haven’t heard from a monitor.

I’m sad. That’s not the way I thought it would be  … even if I’m doing this primarily for me.

So that’s it. I’ll probably have brought down upon myself all the monitors from monitorland, and I don’t really know what I expected from them, just maybe a quick note from time to time. For all I know, nobody even cares if I’m updating every 30 minutes or not! (apart from me).

Nuff said. Whinge bag has whined enough.
