Worst shift! AGH! Oh and cyclone Yasi =)

Horrible shift!  ERGH!!  Write it off!  Write it off!  I had to call the police last night because of a drunk guy slumped outside on the chairs, for well over three hours.  I figured rather than go wake him up myself, I’d get the cops to do it.  So I rang the new Policelink number and the lady on the other end of the phone put me through to the 000 ambulance!  It was hardly a 000 situation, but anyway, sure enough, about 5 minutes later the ambulance came blarring it, lights flashing everywhere.  They stopped right near him with the side-door open, and they were there a long time.  Had it been quiet, I woulda gone out and met them, but I had to serve customers still!  I’m there by myself!  So yeah, that, AND it was busy AND a dumb cabbie left his shit on the table outside last night in a plastic bag, so I assumed it was rubbish and threw it out.  HE wasn’t there either, and I clean up everything on my shifts, so it went in the bin.  Of course last night he comes in asking if I’ve seen a bag.  I tell him I thought it was rubbish and I tossed it!  SO, I had to go OUT to the industrial bin, throw every damn bag back outta there and search through every fucking bag of rubbish, just to find this moron’s shirt and phone charger.  And of COURSE I couldn’t find it, could I?  It was busy as then when he eventually came back and whilst I was serving a customer, he asked me if I’d found it.  I snapped at him, ‘No I haven’t!  It’s gone!’  He stormed off in a pissed off mood.  Yeah well I didn’t wanna spent my night sorting through garbage cos of your stupidity either!~

One shift to go.  Fuck I hope it’s better than last night.  Off to Seaworld tomorrow.  Tried to book in for my skin cancer check (can’t believe it’s been a year already) but they are all booked out tomorrow so I’m going next Wednesday.  Will see if Bailey’s still actually coming with me.  I figure I’ll go pretty much after work.

I got my hair cut this morning.  Got it coloured too – well 24 foils.  I’m actually quite amazed at the colour she got out of it, so I’m back to being a partial blonde.  I’m not too sure about the cut at the back though.  Looks a bit lesbianish?  I dunno, I guess I’m just not used to it, and it’s nice having shorter hair again in this hot weather.

I’ve been doing really well at gym lately.  Been going pretty much every morning.  I’ve noticed it’s been a bit busier than usual, but my workmate reckons that’s because The Biggest Loser has started up again on TV, so people actually have some motivation.  Yup, that’d explain it.

I haven’t heard much about the cyclone, but I know it crossed the coast last night.  It was raining when I left work and I reckon we’ll get a lot of it when it comes south as a low pressure system.  But the fact the sheer size of it covers a lot of the USA is pretty damn scary!!

I find it insane that the eye of the cyclone would cover all of New Orleans CBD
