Oh my god, how funny is this show – I’m watching Great Comedy Classics and the first show is ‘some mothers do ‘av em’.  I used to watch this as a little kid with my dad, we used to crack up laughing then and I still am now haha.  I guess some things stick with you.

I’m so annoyed though – I was watching the first episode of American Idol as they’ve started to show it on TV here, and as I was watching the auditions, I saw the guy who I know WON the competition!  Gee, get up to date people – I guess there probably are no later seasons and most people aren’t as music savvy as I am, but yeh I already know who wins, so not really much point in watching it, except to see the other finalists.  It’s interesting how they cut down tens of thousands of auditionees to the final 24 in just one episode haha.

I worked 5am until 3pm today.  Great after finishing at 9:30pm last night.  My lesbian friend had to open her mouth and announce that i started then to my workmate, so he’ll be sure to tell my manager next week, so I worried about that for a bit.  Only reason I started earlier was because I had to do markdowns – something he never lets me do during the week because we are always so far behind.  Maybe if that lazy cunt would actually do some work and HELP us, I would be able to.  Instead sometimes I feel I’m the only one who gives a damn about getting everything done.  I take pride in my work and always have.  I had no choice but to start earlier today so that I could get it down before the store opened – because, when the store opens I pretty much have no chance, with customers asking for stuff, having to do my general work plus going up to the fucking checkouts when it gets busy.  So basically, I was caught out starting earlier than I should have, but if he says one thing to me next week (which I know he will), I’m so backanswering him.  I’ll take responsibility from a manger who I respect because they work well, but not from someone who is basically a waste of time, space and money to the company.  Just because I was doing what NEEDED to be done, shouldn’t be a reason I get in trouble.  Besides, I’m only doing this to see how FUCKED they get when I go on holidays, because it sure as hell won’t get done, and basically I don’t give a shit.

Today I got a bit worried at work, not cos of that, but because I could taste blood.  Sure enough when I rushed to the bathroom and spat it out, my saliva was mixed with blood.  Fantastic – so I assume something is wrong with one of my teeth.  Maybe I had one too many sugars.  I brush my teeth everyday, but I’ve noticed lately the brush I’m using is making my gums bleed so I may need to change to a softer one.  I originally got the hard one to clean my teeth more thouroughly after my dental visit last time.  So now I’m really hoping nothing is wrong.  It seems to have slowed down to have stopped as I write.

So it’s my weekend again!  Yay!  I can’t believe how fast the working went actually went!  I hope they are all like that for the next three weeks 😀  Haha yeah right, what are the chances.  I’m also doing a Monday to Friday shift the week before Christmas, so I actually get the Saturday off to go to Millmerran for my little brother’s 21st!  I’m still trying to decide what to get for him.  I have a few ideas, but it’s more a case of wanting to get him something that somebody else won’t get him as well.

My housemate is out at an engagement party so I have the house to myself.  I’m still in my room though but at least I’m happy to go out into the other rooms of the house without him venturing into another one of his life stories.

I’m also annoyed because I wanted to pay some bills tonight.  I managed to pay my internet account, but I can’t pay my parking fine.  It says the site is down so I can’t seem to pay online.  I have to pay it by the 7th of December.  The council are in the process of moving to the new Brisbane Square building, so I can see this is gunna be hell trying to pay.  I hope it doesn’t come to bite me in the arse.  As long as I can find a Customer Service Centre somewhere, surely I can pay it.  I should be able to do it at a library if things get too bad, right?  I’ll try again tomorrow, during daylight, but that being Sunday, I probably won’t be able to either.  I’ll have to wait until Monday, which is my birthday, to pay my stupid parking fine.  Yay! 

I got a birthday card from my mum in the mail yesterday 🙂  That was awesome.  I probably shouldnt have opened it until Monday but hey it was a letter 🙂  I opened it when I got to work Friday.  It says "Dear Matt, Hope you have a really great Birthday – you even get the day off!  Buy yourself something nice with the money.  Love always from M

I’m looking forward to Monday.  If nothing happens I’ll go out and splurge on myself – why not.
