Sick As A Dog

So I’m sick as a dog.  It’s absolute hell and I’m not better yet.  The last 24 hours have not been easy!  GOD, they weren’t kidding about this flu epidemic goin around this year!  It came on so quick!  I went to work yesterday but was only there for 3 hours before telling a manager i was going home sick.  I got home at about 8:30am and have been in bed since then!  it is now 12:00pm the next day!  Fuck, I don’t think I’ve been so sick of a bed in my life, but the way I’m feeling I couldn’t even get out of the bed!  I’m barely managing to now and I’ll prob crawl back in after i write this.

My back is killing me but it’s from me coughing so much, so it’s more like my lungs i think.  I don’t know, I just want this sickness to fuck off so I can actually enjoy my day off.  Probably a good thing it’s the Ekka public holiday today but I hate that I’m spending it feeling like I wanna hurl.  I watched so much TV yesterday, all crap, but hey what else am I spose to do when I’m bed-ridden (and not in the good way). 😛

When you’re sick, you’ve got a hell of a lot of time to think.  And usually when I’m sick my mind goes on overdrive and therefore gives me a headache and i get even more sick because of it.  Like I get to the stage of freaking out over the stupidest thing and i can’t breathe and yeh, it’s just not pleasant.  i did alright last night though, probably because I know myself so well – I just kept going to sleep and waking up every so often in a coughing fit.

I obviously feel slightly better than I was because I actually made it to the computer, which is right next to my bed, but i am nowhere near well enough yet.  I’ve been drinking shitloads of water, have taken Nyal to piss my headache off and I rugged myself up.  i felt a fever coming on because even though I was rugged up i still felt cold.  I seem to be okay though.

I’m feeling crap again 🙁  I can’t wait to be healthy again!!! 🙁
