Robbers caught/Random pics

So, they caught the culprits.  Five of them all up.  Typically and Ironically, from Logan.  Good ol Bogan Logan.  I found out as soon as I got to work they’d been caught, after all this time.  Fourteen armed robberies later.  Police found the vehicle and the idiots had all their balaclavas and hoodies in the boot (trunk for you yanks) of the car lol.  Criminals are never really smart people, that’s a given.  I only heard the ages of three of them, 22, 17 and 16, all males from Bogan Logan.  Pffft.  And they’ll be charged with 40-something accounts of armed robbery.  Wow boys, that’s a few Christmas’ you’re gunna miss with the family!
I do find it pathetic what the sentence currently is for armed robbery.  I was waiting for the paper to arrive at work so I could read about these guys being caught, but the article was actually about how a judge wants the sentence raised because this crime keeps happening and he wants the book thrown at them.  The current sentence is 12 to 18 months in prison for armed robbery.  Umm okay!!  Two people were injured, including the night guy at a site I have done shifts at!!  Those shifts!  The delivery guy was telling me that he was back at work the following night and the only thing the manager asked was, ‘how much money did they take?’
Typical.  Fuck the safety of your staff – gotta find out how much money was lost.  Fuck that pissed me off.  It didn’t surprise me though.  So much dodgy shit does on in this franchise that I wouldn’t be surprised if I was asked the same question first, had it happened to me.
It is a relief they are caught.  They apparently tried to play it down by telling the police ‘It’s only armed robbery.’  Umm only?  You put two workers in hospital! 
Wankers.  It’s like the new girl said when I took over from her last night, ‘Kids think they are invincible and will do anything.’  I even heard that the 16 year old won’t be trialled because he’s a juvenile!!  I wanna find him and smack him over the back of the head with the crobar under my counter!  If he gets away scott-free then who’s to say he isn’t gunna try it again huh?  Fuck the justice system pisses me off something chronic.  And 12 months for armed robbery?  That’s gotta be a joke.  Why aren’t we all out there robbing banks with needles then huh?

Anyway, rant over.  It’s a relief.  I’m still locking the door like I always have.  I was only really scared that one night, the first night I heard about it happening.  The morning lady reckons there’s a dodgy looking vehicle that hangs around after I leave in the mornings, just drives in really slow and looks around to see who’s inside – reckons it’s been there the last few mornings.  I told her to take note of the number plate and report suspicious activity.  I bloody well would.  If you’re not there to get fuel, why the hell would you be casing out the joint unless you were up to no good?

I won tickets tonight to a play at the Powerhouse which I think could be interesting.  It’s called, ‘Nothing exciting happens in Toowoomba.  Ever.’  Considering I spent a lot of my childhood in Toowoomba, I’m looking forward to this one 🙂  Apparently it won a few awards down in Melbourne, and the show it heading to Toowoomba after this.  I was actually going to pay money to go and see it, but they offered a competition on facebook so I thought ‘Why not?’ and I checked my facebook at work and saw I’d gotten a replay saying i’d won 🙂  I was only expecting one ticket but they’ve offered me two, so I gotta decide who to take yet.  I asked my old housemate Ryan but he hasn’t gotten back to me.  That’s the bad thing, when they don’t reply so I can’t exactly offer it to someone else until I know what the answer of the first person is going to be.  My friend Matt wants me to go to the movies with him tonight, but now that I’ve won this I have to use the ticket tonight, and it happens to be my one night off because another shift at work tomorrow, and then the weekend off.  I dunno who I’ll take yet.  Maybe my life will be classically me and I won’t be able to find anyone and I’ll go alone.  Which I don’t really mind.  It’s a play, entertaining each mind individually.  I have the same reasoning with going to the cinema by myself.  I love going with friends, don’t get me wrong, but I have no issue with seeing a movie I wanna see with just me.  I love my own company and I always have.

I’ve been wondering if I should share more of my life on facebook lately.  I mean, I already hold back SO so much on there because of having family and everything on there.  Every single person on my facebook most likely has no idea I even have my life here on OD, except for you guys who have me as friends on there.  It’s strange to think that this site was around well before facebook, and still shits over it in every way possible, even now.

Here’s a photo of my gym when there was no-one there on a weekend 🙂  Yay.  It’s only small but it’s all I need.  There were quite a few there this morning though but I didn’t get out of work til a bit later.

And here’s a random horrific photo I took of me when I found out I could get grindr on my phone lol – if you see this pic on there it’s me.  I’m amazed guys are messaging me because I was tired as all fuck when I took this haha.  Some friends have kindly taken to me to tell me it’s a horrible pic, yet some guys message me saying I look cute.  Oh well I’ve kept it up cos at least it’s real.  Might wanna cover your eyes lol.
