Apparently Brad Paisley is going to be at the Gympie Muster next year!  I’ve never been to it, but Luke and I did look into it one year, but then decided it was too expensive for the few people we actually knew that would be performing there.  Brad Paisley had a song a few years back that I used to see on CMT all the time and it used to make me cry!  That one was called "It didn’t have to be".  Fucking brilliant song – some of the best songs are country.

I just got back from the shops – yes Chermside, where i seem to frequent on my days off haha.  It’s an awesome place now, with the new section open.  I’m wondering how massive it’s gunna be this week because it’s going to be open from Thursday morning right through until Friday night, 37-hour trading, which they do once a year.  I work in the shopping centre up the road from that, and we usually get the customer’s who couldn’t find a park at the Westfield, and there’s usually a lot!  This time last year on the Thursday night (we are open until midnight), we had a gun-man come into our store.  Lucky he didn’t use the gun, because it was confiscated from him when one of the staff spotted it in his back pocket.  There’s so many different rumours about what happened that night, but it was still pretty scary.  The front end staff were all freaking out – obviously!  Basically the gun was taken from him and he was told never to come back to the store, and we haven’t seen him since.  Well he did actually come in the next day and everyone started freaking out again (cos if he had one gun, why wouldn’t he have another), but a girl who didn’t know about the events the previous night served him as though everything was normal.  Since then he hasn’t been back, but who says it won’t happen this year, same time same place?  I’m on until 9pm and last year he came in around 8pmish, so I only caught an idea of what had gone on (from the service 100 calls over the P.A – security call), until it was explained to me after he’d left.

So anyway I did the rest of my Christmas shopping and I found the most AWESOME present for my lesbian workmate!  Woohoo, I think it’s like the coolest pressie I’ve bought for anyone.  It cost me $50 and is this pink cow, dressed up with a leg showing, doing the can-can on a sparling silver base.  I’ll see if I can get a photo of it, cos I probably won’t see it again after I give it to her! 

There we go, that didn’t take long.  Omg I sooo wanna keep it for myself hahaha.  I chose it cos it’s something different, and she loves pink so yeah!  Let’s hope she likes it!

Sorry Kiki, no photos of your pressie cos yours is a surprise!  Hahaha.  It sucks I can’t write what it is cos she reads this diary!  I’ll write what it is AFTER I give it to her.

I also bought an awesome photo frame that says ‘If you weren’t my mum, I’d choose you as a friend’ and I printed one of my home-made photos of me and mum at movie-world last year, on photo paper and cut it to size to fit in the frame. It didn’t turn out too bad either!  I have blonde hair in the photo, but meh, it’s still me! Mum will love it!! 

So I have a lot of my payslip to Borders again today haha, but got 40% off, so that was a score.  Woulda come to like $100 but got it for like $60ish.  Most of the staff today were male, maybe they have male and female days.  The shopping centre was packed today, and there were sooo many cute guys.  A lot of guys seem to be working out more these days than there used to be, cos I’m seeing a lot more guys who take care of themselves.  Not that I’m complaining, yumm lol.  Nah I prefer the borderline cute/hot stage, like they are toned but not too toned ya know.  Like you can see they work at keeping in shape, but they don’t oversell it.  That’s the type I like, otherwise they just have to be tall cute and slim, with a cool fashion sense haha, either way!! *drools*

My housemate’s not home and we’re suppose to be going to dinner.  I had two friends invite me out this afternoon but had to turn both of them down cos of this di

nner thing – he’d better turn up soon.  I told one mate I’d meet up with him afterwards though, depending where he is.  It’s been ages since I’ve seen him anyways.

I can’t wait for my holidays – have I said that enough yet? 😀  I am so going to dye my hair again, and I’m going to get my eyebrows waxed and my eyelashes tinted.  Luke had it done and it looks awesome on him, and I’ve been meaning to for ages, but just either haven’t been motivated enough to do it, or the thought of walking into a beauty salon is just plain weird for me haha.  I Soooo need a girlfriend to go in with me so she can her hers done too – any volunteers???

Now I just hope I have enough Christmas wrapping paper left to wrap these pressies!  If not it’s back off to the shops for me!  Or I might just get some from work tomorrow, yeh that might be easier.  Next week at work isn’t going to be pretty – Christmas week – ahhhh!

So I’d better get ready i guess, if I’m supposedly going out to dinner, and meeting my friend after.  Gunna have a big night.  I really can’t do everything I need to on a one-day weekend, although I’ve done alright so far.  It’s jsut my washing that needs to be done, but it’s been darkly overcast all day so I think that’s been holding me back from doing so.
