Yeah gross title hey?  Only chose it cos I just finished dinner, which was a healthy choice Apricot Chicken and Rice.  I was eating the last of the rice, and that thought popped into my head, so there we go – we have an entry title 🙂

It’s 11:30 on a Friday night so that means I have to start early tomorrow.  I finished at 9:30pm and normally I start at 5am tomorrow, but my manager is actually doing a Saturday for the first time in like FOREVER, so I’m gunna start at 8:00am instead.  Yay, sleep-in!   Well a bit.  I’ll bet I won’t be able to sleep though because of the hours change.  I remember last time I lay in bed wide awake, not being able to sleep, but that could also be because it was so damn HOT.  I’ve had my fan on the last week or two while I sleep.

My mum’s rangm e a few times this week, which has been nice.  She’s been letting me in on the goss and Christmas arrangements and stuff.  Turns out that the rumours about my grandma’s new boyfriend AREN’T true (yes, my grandma has a boyfriend!) – my grandad died when I was about 3 years old, so she’s been by herself for 20 odd years.  But my dad and mum were worried when they heard that her new guy hadn’t been completely honest with her.  Dad made some phone calls and stuff, and turns out they were nothing but rumours.  All it seems to have done is upset them now.  It’ll be good to see my grandma’s at Christmas (mind you its liek the only time i see them), but they are like the only two people who don’t know I’m gay.  Everyone else has known for what, 4 years? haha.  Dad and mum’s wishes though – because they are old-fashioned, they don’t think it would be wise to tell them.  Actually, I believe mum’s words were, ‘you’d better hope neither of your grandparents find out!’ haha.  I really wouldn’t give a crap.  I remember last Christmas, I went to visit my grandma in Millmerran, and she was at a friends place.  It was a scorching hot summer’s day, and she and a group of elderly people were all sitting on chairs in a rough-circle with a few pedestal fans attempting to keep everyone cool.  One of grandma’s friends asked me, as I was expecting, where my girlfriend was.  I replied back I just wasn’t interested.  That’s when another old chap piped in with, ‘That’s right sonny, why buy one book when you can borrow the whole library?!’  Gee, I had a good laugh at that one!  But if any of my grandma’s ask, I’ll probably just flat out tell them.  I was originally gunna tell my parents i was gay on Christmas Day a few years back, until my little brother urged me not to.  Wise advice.  It wouldn’t be ‘Christmas Day’, It’d be ‘Our son’s a fag day’ lol.  Nah, I feel I’m on pretty good terms with my parents these days.

I’ve got a fucking cold-sore.  Well, I’m pretty sure it’s a cold-sore cos I’ve never had one that I know of before, so I actually had to do a google search to see what a cold-sore looks like, but I’ve had it for a few days now, and I bought some Zovirax after work tonight, not that I’m gmae to use it until I’m sure what I’ve got is a cold-sore.  It looks the same as the pics that came up.  So I’m sitting here at the computer, with a hand-held mirror, trying to get good light, and compare it to the images on screen.  Some were gross but I was expecting that, and I’m pretty sure it is one.  I’m tempted to just let it go away naturally, although that probably means putting up with it for a few more days at least.  It just hurts the right side of my mouth when I try to open wide cos it’s right on the edge – damn thing – piss off!  It sucks cos I can’t make out with any hot guys until it goes away!  I looked pretty good for going to work this morning, my hair looked good, my face looked good, and then there’s this cold-sore on the right side of my lip grrr – isn’t that noticeable but it’s the feeling that I know it’s there that is intimidating.  I’m hoping it doesn’t spread, but hey if it does I’m prepared now.

I had a bit of a scare this week.  I haven’t written in a little while, and that is due to my ISP SUSPENDING my internet service!  I read an email from them saying that my uploads were too high and if it continued, they would terminate my service.  So I read that email, checked all sorces that could be giving me a high upload rate and fixed them and went to bed.  I went to work that day (Wednesday I think it was) and came home to find I couldn’t connect to any server.  Great.  I tried unplugging and plugging back in, I tried disabling it and enabling it, restarting, shutting down – nothing.  "Great, they’ve terminated me"  And not even 24 hours!!  So I let it go for 2 days thinking maybe their servers were down (ha, I know, wishful thinking), and I got the guts to ring them this morning.  The guy told me that my service had been suspended because of that reason, and I said that I’d only just read the email, and he said that the email was actually sent out on December 5th.  I really should check that emsail more often, but I really don’t need to cos that is not my email I use.  I only really check it to see how much my usage is.  He was nice t

hough and re-activated my account, but warned me that if it happens again, my service will be suspended for 7 days (No Exceptions), and if again after those 7 days, I may well be terminated.  My question is, if I’m terminated – do I still have to pay them for the remainder of my contract?  Because I’m not gunna pay for something I’m not going to be using!  Cos if not, I see that as a pretty piss-easy way of getting out of a hefty disconnection fee!  I’m sure there’s a catch.  Either way I’m back online, but it was pretty scary because I really didn’t think I’d done anything wrong, but apparently the way cable internet works, is that if if too many people download from me (me uploading), it slows the other users down in my area.  I said fair enough and thanked him for explaining it to me.  I’m a bit hesitant on using Azureus now because it seems to upload by itself no matter what!  I’ve changed the settings as low as possible so hopefully I’ll be okay, and I can keep using limewire as I have a paid version, which means I don’t have to allow others to upload at all.  But being suspended for uploading too much – even i thought that was bullshit.  Most people wouldn’t even know what that means, and would be left feeling even more confused than I did – I was lucky i read the email one day before they cancelled me.  Lucky I did or I’d be like ‘what the hell is going on!?’ – I only assumed I had been cut off, and yep, I was right.  Gotta watch myself now.  Not like it was really my fault, it’s others downloading off me!  I still think they really should make themselves more clear on that policy of theirs.  Yesterday I was really wound up about it and sent my friend (who works in a call centre) a message – "B Glad U Don’t Work In The optus Call Centre, Cos Wateva Poor Cunt Get’s Me 2morrow Is Gunna Fucking Hear About It!"  Sucks I was polite though. I always am.  I really should scream down the phone line one day – yeah right as if I would.

One day weekend this weekend, as I’m doing Tuesday-Saturday this week and Monday-Friday next week, so Sunday I’m gunna be pretty busy tryna get everything done I need to do, including finishing my Xmas shopping – it’s almost done, just a few people to buy for, and my housemate wants to take me out for a Christmas Dinner (He’ll pay) that night too, as I said it’s the only night I’ll be able to.  I didn’t really want to, but am out of politeness.  I was working Tuesday night but my boss asked me if I can work the morning instead, so i said I would, so I have that night off, and depending if Billy’s free, I’ll use that one spare night to hang out with him!  Friggin Christmas in retail is hell, been pretty flat out.  I’m hoping tomorrow goes fast.

My new housemate seems prety quiet, although Bryn asked me what i thought of him, and thinks he appears to have been a bit rude to him, so who knows.  I think he’s still scared of me, cos I sure as hell ain’t of him.  Outside smells a little of cigarettes now, but I was used to that at the old house, it’s alright.  I accidently locked him out yesterday when I left for work cos I didn’t realise he was home – whoops hahaha.
