Me in a hat

I hung out with Vish in the city yesterday. He really seems like a guy who knows how to be a good friend to everyone. Like pretty much every time he’ll catch the train into the city to meet me. I’ve only been out his way twice. Granted, the city is where all the shopping and hot guys to perve on (sometimes) are so he trains in, and I hang out with him usually. We did our usual thing of food and catch-up on gay-gossip (cos he knows EVERYONE) and he had his vegan stuff whilst i had thai chicken curry – just been loving my thai lately.

We spent a lot of it hunting for new connies for me, as mine have sadly fallen apart after a few years of use 🙁 Like I still wear them, but if it rains, my socks will get soaked because of the amount of holes in the shoes 🙂 Everywhere we looked was $90 for the exact same pair, and Myer had the audacity to ask for $125 lol! I swear I picked up this pair for no more than $55 so I ain’t forking out $90, so in the end, didn’t end up getting any connies and decided to search online for them 🙂

So we checked out Dj’s and saw this hat so Vish made me try it on 🙂

Off to the coast today 🙂 Being picked up in a few hours – can’t wait!

Is Vish vegan? You should take him to dinner at Loving Hut in Mt Gravatt for dinner because he’s a good friend, and let me come. 😛 They do the best crumbed deep fried field mushrooms. They’re huge and taste so good! I keep thinking about them six months after going there. x

Yeah, the redbacks are closely related to our black widows and look almost the same– red mark is slightly gifferent shape and the redbacks are, I think slighly smaller than the black widows, but otherwise much the same. It is interesting that Australia has so many types of venomous spiders and snakes compared to, say, the US. I think it’s because the critters have to compete more fiercely tosurvive in the desert. Our desert areas (like around Phoenix) have more than their share of venomous things as well, the black widows, scorpions, rattlers, etc. Davo
