Instagram fun pics – edit

Worked tonight.  It was good and went quite fast, so that’s always good 🙂

I’d planned to go to gym after work, and I did exactly that.  I was pretty hungry though so I stopped off at the 7/11 on the way (thank God for 7/11’s) and grabbed a sandwhich and a drink and sat down at a bus stop in the dark and ate it.  I know, exciting right? 😛

I wasn’t sure which gym was closest so I went into my Foursquare app and looked up ‘Jetts’ and it came up with Milton (my usual) being 2.6km away and Gabba (my old gym) being 5.4km away.  Haha, so much for me thinking the Gabba might be closer.  it was double the distance!  So in the opposite direction I ventured 🙂

I was surprised when I got there cos there were three others there.  It was about 1:30am by the time I arrived, as I finished at midnight, but had eaten and walked there.  I think it was around then anyway.  I stayed there until around 2:30am and I was the only one by the end of my session.  I had a good workout too!  Was quite proud of it, considering working out after working isn’t the easiest thing to do.

I was in a bit of a funny mood, and was snapping random instagram pictures whilst on the way to the gym, at the gym and then on the way home.  This is how it ended up lol.

I found it amusing that the XXXX factory had now become the XXXY factory 😛

I must’ve taken so many shots at the gym before I got one I was relatively happy with lol.  I did take another photo of myself on the walk there in my hoodie, but I looked like a loch-ness monster it was that disgusting 😛

When I eventually left, I decided to go out of my way a little bit and see how I could try and get a self-taken photo with one of the statues at Suncorp Stadium, as I walk through there all the time anyway.  Of course I chose Darren Lockyer.  It actually surprises me that Alfie Langer doesn’t have a statue there.

I made it the goldest colour because of the whole Olympics theme going on at the moment 🙂

 
So things like this have been keeping me amused.  I got home around 3:30am, after getting swooped by a mother-fucking-huge-ass bat, which had a HUGE wingspan, so it seemed.  I had my hoodie on so wasn’t too concerned.  Dunno how true that bats vs hair thing is.

Clearly I am tired =) =)

Edit:  I read this blog today that I found was quite interesting.  It’s about the differences between men’s and women’s sexuality, or rather, the way we’re brought up to think they are.  Now I don’t know the first thing about women, but from what I know growing up, I have to agree with this 🙂  I thought it was worth a mention

Edit: It’s past 6am and I’ve been up all night again.  I’ve been quite productive however lol.  First of all I did something INSANE and registered for the Bridge To Brisbane.  Like wtf!?  I only registered for the 5km jog and not the run or the 10kg jog or run – as if I’m gunna do that!  It’s for a good cause – I see it go by and pass me every year, so this year I’m gunna give it a go.  I’m not going for a win (HA as if!) but I’m quite excited for the atmosphere actually.  It’ll be lame doing it by myself, as I don’t know anyone else I know who is doing it, but hey, these are the crazy things I do.

The other thing I did was apply for my course.  It’s all done!  I made a private entry with an image of the preferences I’ve gone for, as I’m a bit embarrassed about it for some reason (in a public entry anyway), but I’ve still put my fitness one on top of the preferences.  I included the optional 6, but I only really want the first.  They say to put the two courses you want to do that are just out of your reach as the first two, but to tell the truth, I’d prefer the fitness course haha, plus its more likely for me to have a chance at that one since I don’t have much to back me up pre-requisite-wise.  So yeah that’s what I did.  Now I play the waiting game!  Again.

I’ve also been up watching the Olympics.  We scored two gold for Australia overnight through Anna Meares and Sally Pearson woohoo!  It was pretty exciting to watch and I think my patriotism woke my housemates up 🙂  Plus it was hot watching the male divers 😛
