Importance Of Time

Jesus Christ just shoot me already!  I have had a 5-day weekend!  A 5-DAY WEEKEND… where I have spent 4 of those days pretty much confined to my bed, hacking up my lungs with my nose running like a faucet 🙁  Not fair!!!  It’s now Wednesday night, well actually 2am Thursday morning and I am in the loungeroom watching TV.  I am just so sick of my bed, but will probably reside back in there soon as it’s just more comfy.  I’ve already slept like 3 times today 🙁  This is so shit.
Mitch rang me when I was asleep and i rang him back when I woke up about a half hour later.  The phone call seemed slightly awkward but went okay otherwise.  He asked what was with the beach ball at Big Gay Day (cos there were heaps flying around and I kept catching them and passing them to him so that he could hit them back across the crowd), and I told him I guess I was just trying to be cute.  We were just happy and drunk, and if anyone watched that 3rd video I put up, you’ll understand what I mean.  It was just a bit of drunk fun really – I took it too far by feeling him up and stuff but he did it back for a while haha.  Of course, my best friend and my landlord now think we are an item and are really exaggerating what it is.
He said to me on the phone he thinks I’m the nicest guy he’s met in a long time.  I went along with it ‘Of course I am’ haha (get your tickets here!) but I apologised for being so sick. 
We were meant to catch up for icecream originally, and he suggested dinner on Wednesday night, but unfortunately I had to tell him I’m simply not well enough.  I’d love to hang out with him – if anything we can be good mates and it’s always cool getting to know someone new.
I’m back to the slaveyards tonight, and knowing my luck, I’ll be better in time to start work again.  So much I could have been doing with these consecutive days off, but NOOOOOO – the fucking world had to take all my energy and confide me to the bedroom, for all the wrong reasons 🙁
I keep telling myself at least I got to have fun on Sunday – I guess that day just had to make up for the other four 🙁
