I guess in some ways….

It’s the first day of winter.  I’m freezing my arse off!  I’m down at Southbank again, just waiting for a download to finish.  Pretty much wasted my time coming here as i can’t find anything I actually wanted.  I should’ve just stayed at home rugged up in my blanket when I got home from work this morning, but no, here I am, with the breeze of the Brisbane river not really helping my shivering right now.  When this movie is finished downloading, I’m going to find a nice sunny spot to sit in for a while and defrost.  I don’t even know why I’m getting this movie.  It’s "Did you hear about the morgans’ – yeah, I guess it was one of the only ones i could find that would work, and I’m pretty much just trying to accumulate a list to watch as I have 3 nights off work 🙂  Yay!  I was gunna go to the beach but I don’t think it’s warming up anytime soon!  I guess it is only 8:30am but still.  I worked 9pm til 5am as usual, and it was bloody cold around 3am.  I can feel the mercury plummet between around 1:30am and 3am.  Luckily the store is nice and toasty.  I wore my new work uniform for the first time last night.  I actually quite like it.  A lot of customers think it looks crap, but I think that’s cos they are old codgers only used to the basic one I used to wear.  This new one is very bright and colourful.  I no longer need to wear a tie or even tuck the shirt in.  It’s great! 

Right now, all I want to do is get some hot food and sit in a wind-free area in the sunlight.  I feel like an eskimo.  They said the weather will be cold the next few days, but I guess it’s a nice welcome to winter.

Thank-you for the kind words on my last entry, I appreciate it.  I guess having met so many gay guys over time, I get skeptical on whether there are any at all out there who would actually be into me besides just the sex lol.  I guess the thought is nice to think about at least 🙂  And yeah, I definitely still think about him.  I feel silly, really.  You know, like when you’re a kid and you get that school-crush on someone? 

I guess in some ways we never grow mature.

I might write again later.  My fingers are so cold right now I’m amazed I even wrote this 🙂
