Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and all that jazz.  So many customers were saying it to me at work last night, and a few felt sorry for me that I was stuck there.  The delivery driver dropped off a load, which I wasn’t expecting, and later on I get a phone call from a site I’ve never even heard of saying they had one of our rollcages and they think we had one of theirs.  Lot of good that was!  I’d already put it all away!  So I checked the stickers, but only one had a sticker on it, so I assumed the other one was theirs and had to go around and figure out what was theirs and what wasn’t – ergh, annoying after it was all away already.  It was busy as as well!  I had a good shift otherwise.  Some chick who I didn’t know was on after me and she rocked up at 5:30am, half an hour late.  Oh well, wasn’t too bad.  I woulda stayed on all day if I had to – public holiday rates and all, but got the extra half hour so that’s good.

I went to Southbank to catch up with my crush before work but didn’t hear from him, so ended up getting bored/a little annoyed and just decided to head to work.  I was way early though so was glad when I realised Coles was still open.  They had some really cheap Christmas stufff left over so I got five bags of candy canes to give out to free for customers at work.  That was my good deed to the new year 🙂  I just made a dodgy sign saying ‘Please help yourself.’ – I did realise the irony in that sign when I wrote it, but oh well, so what, it has a double meaning.

Was chatting to my crush just before – he reckons his phone died, but I reckon that’s a lie.  I don’t really mind, I’ve pretty much given up on him.  He doesn’t want me for me, I’ll move on.  I refuse to change for anybody.

Logged into OD today and someone has given me an OD-plus gift subscription!  Who the hell was it??  huh?  huh???  ANSWER ME! 😀  And thank-you =)
