Get my money back

So apparently my last entry from my mobile phone saved it as a date title – great.  Oh well.

I’m meant to be going to dinner with Kara tonight, as I haven’t seen her since her birthday a few months ago now I think, but work has kindly decided to change the rosters at the last minute, so the night I DID have off (tonight) is now no longer.  Also, the night of my birthday, I did have off, but now no longer have off either 🙁  I’m really hoping my boss will be nice and let me have that night off.  I couldn’t think of anything better than going out clubbing to Fluffy and getting absolutely smashed and not giving a damn about the world right now!  Especially because of the amount of hours I’ve been doing at work – I am SO not used to them!  I’m used to 4 shifts a week, not 5 and 6, which is what’s been happening lately with all the chopping and changing and staff quitting from other stores etc.  It’s going my head in.  Saturday, I stupidly agreed to come in early – 3pm early.  Mind you I start at 9pm, so I ended up doing a 14 HOUR shift.  Never again!  ERGH that was tough – by midnight I was REALLY feeling it and just wanted to collapse my head onto the desk out the back.  I was downing those new blue V energy cans trying to stay awake 🙂 

I’d gone out to lunch with Lindsay (guy) when I got the call from my manager saying she’d come in, so since I was out anyway, I said I’d come in after I finished up at lunch.  I made it there by 3pm, and it was so strange working during daylight hours.  I could see every car and every number plate as clear as day.  At night, it’s SO much harder!  I don’t think they realise how fucked up and unfair it is on me compared to how easy they can catch drive-off offenders, when even when I run outside and squint to catch who it is, I rarely can.  I’m pretty proud that not many get away from me though.  It still cuts when I’m made to feel bad for someone else commiting a crime though.  I decided to go in for the shift because it was weekend rates, so I worked out I would have gotten around $450 for that one shift.  Score, but then again it was nearly one after the other.  By the time David arrived to take over from me, I was ready to go home.  I went home and pretty much collapsed on the bed, after grabbing the quickest food I could find, which was maccas.  No way I was going home and preparing a home-cooked meal and frying it after THAT.  Hells to the EN OH! 

I did get a lovely surprise though!  Billy came in and visited me on my hellish-long shift, and he really helped me!  it was nice to see a familiar friend.  He’d brought his friend Ed along, who I have met before, but my memory is terrible.  He asked me if I remembered him haha.  I replied ‘yeah’ as in I remembered his face but I didn’t remember where exactly from, so I guess it was a half-truth?  Either way, the boys had been out playing tennis (a sport Archer and myself both LOVE) and were even playing during the rain earlier on in my shift.  I was thankful for the rain as it tends to keep a majority of customers away 🙂  I stood at the front door and watched it for a while, thinking how peaceful the sound was on the cement.

I worked last night as well.  Wasn’t too bad – was just good to work a regular 8 hours.

Went to gym this morning.  Hottie who is always there weekdays changed his gym outfit and looked twice as hot.  He had a gym buddy with him.  I had a really good workout – its good when I have the ones where I feel good about myself, as at work I was starting to feel a bit sorry for myself and depressive thoughts were settling in, but luckily they soon went away.  i must have been distracted by customers.

One of my DVD’s arrived already!  A month earlier than predicted on the website – except it was the tragic one I was worried about.  I can’t believe I spent moolah on it haha – it’s called ‘Have you met my son?’ and it is probably the LOWEST BUDGET film I’ve ever seen – it basically focus’s around 2 rooms and a nightclub scene haha.  As I started watching it, even I was shaking my head at how much it compared to ‘Croc–o-shark’ or ‘Shark-o-dile’ or whatever it was, which we watched on Coochiemudlo Island haha.  only in the sense of how bad quality it was.  But then I kept watching and found myself laughing my arse off.  I love how easily entertained I am sometimes!!  It’s a film none of my friends would watch I don’t think, but now I’m happy to say I’m glad I own it 😛  Now just waiting for my other one to arrive, which was shipped a day after this one was, so hopefully it’s not too far off.  I already know Shel has downloaded it illegally.  Oh well.

I still can’t believe what Shel said.  My friend Moe asked him why it didn’t work between him and me, and Shel’s answer was, ‘My personality is too strong for him.’  i almost burst out laughing.  I was telling my other friend Matt that, and he goes, ‘What personality?’ LOL. 
Apparently Matt’s been on holidays and going places and I’ve been jealous cos I haven’t been invited, but then I remember how much I’ve been working lately and it’s not like I could go anyway.  The good news is I have Wednesday and Thursday night off – at this stage.  I’d better not be bloody called in again.  Might just ignore the phone.  Especially if I have to work on my birthday!

I served the hottest black guy I’ve ever seen in my life on Saturday night.  He had flawless smooth-toned dark skin and biceps the size of my calf muscles!  I couldn’t stop drooling on the counter.

My last pay was quite good, so I bought my groceries online again.  It’s being delivered tomorrow after 9, after my housemates go to work.  It better not rock up EARLY again like it did last time and there I am awkwardly trying to put away $150 of groceries around my housemates making their breakfast.  Idiots.  There’s a reason we select time-windows! 

I can’t believe that ‘It’s Time’ video I mentioned a few entries back now has over 1.3 Million views in 3 days.  Crazy.  I watched it again this morning and it is pretty cool.  Didn’t make me cry though. 

I made a new chart, being Monday.  I LOVE the song I have as the video on there, even though it’s 5 months old now.  A facebook friend did a video cover of it a while back and that’s when I first heard it, and he was just in underwear in the video, so it was hot too 🙂

When I was at Brent’s place, he showed me Caswell’s ‘Get my money back‘ video – SO GAY!  Hahaha, worst song but it’s soooo catchy!  I think it’s hot when they are doing the monkey-dance-thingy.
