Election 2010
I’m off work until Thursday wooo!!! 😀 Got the new housemate’s housewarming tonight, if I wake up for it that is lol. I should probably sleep. Worked last night and it was a good shift, but I spent like 2 hours wandering around this morning looking for a damn polling booth. Turns out I was just too early as they didn’t open til 8am, and I was wanting to get it over. It was driving me crazy cos I figured how the hell could there not be a polling booth in the city of all places!? It was in the same place as the state election was, just wasn’t open when I walked past. I pretty much walked the entire perimeter of the damn city looking for one lol. I assumed they opened at 6am. Nope. I know how much it sucked when I worked days, having to vote during my lunch break, so I thought they’d have sense and open early so people had to chance to vote, but nope. Just as disorganised as both of our potential Prime Ministers are 🙂
I know a lot of you have your own opinions, but my vote went to the Greens. I wasn’t being put off or scared by all the friends on facebook trying to curb my vote to a party I can’t stand. I don’t feel my vote will make a difference, but I think the Greens will be quite popular. A lot of the customers at work last night seem to still be very pissed off with the labor party and how Gillard ousted Rudd. They feel it’s not the Aussie way. I don’t blame them. At the moment I’m wild at my family members and Christian ‘friends’ for voting for Family First, but hey, I figure the only way Family First will get any votes is by capturing the already brainwashed Christian vote 🙂 I felt great pleasure in putting that bitch Wendy Francis at number 60 on my white ballot form 🙂 For her to compare gay marriage to child abuse makes me wish her grandchildren turn out gay. Fucking mole. I guess contraversy is publicity unfortunately.
My old housemate Ryan wants to crash here on Monday night, as he is filming here on Tuesday morning and it’ll just be easier. They want to film here for whatever reason, and we’re all happy with that. I haven’t made any plans, so yeah I hope I don’t forget and go away to the coast or something haha. I tend to do that – double-book. I figure my housemates would be home even if I’m not. I dunno, kinda don’t feel like thinking about it. So yeah plans tonight and Monday night, just gotta find something to do in between 🙂 I hope the weather’s nice – that’s always a deciding factor for me =)
I’m voting sex party and greens… Family first will be LASTTTT.

Politics are so… dull.

I voted Greens too. I hope Wendy Francis eats shit and dies.

I voted Greens too.

Judging by your noters, looks like Greens are pretty popular.

I think I threw away my vote. I never know exactly who to vote for. they all fuck us over

Family First was last on my ballot paper. Wendy Francis can eat the shit off my shoe and I’ll knee her in the face while she’s doing it. I voted Green in the senate… but Libs in the House of Reps, but this is a safe Libs seat so it wouldn’t have mattered if I’d voted anything else living here.
Warning Comment
I voted Greens in both Senate and House of Reps. I ended up giving my second, third and fourth preferences to the Australian Sex Party, The Climates Skeptics Party and the Fishing Party respectively, because I couldn’t give a fuck. I voted Family First LAST bitches! LOL!

i boycotted voting. oh i went and got my name marked off and put the paper in the correct box… but there was nothing on the ballots. they went in blank. *hugs ya*

Have fun at the party

Is that what she said about gay marriages?!?!?! Far out!!! Because I’m not allowed to vote, I tend to switch off when politics get discussed. But what she said is just plain disgusting.
