Drowned Rat

I can’t believe I just walked home in that!  It is absolutely pissing down here in Brisbane, kinda of similar to last year’s weather pattern.  It poured rain at work from start at 9pm til finish at 5am.  I left work with my umbrella over my head, but by the time I even reached the main road, my work uniform was drenched.
So I stopped in at the public toilet there, which is obviously undercover, left the door open and peeled my clothes off my body, changed into my shorts, threw my uniform and my socks in my bag and just put my shorts and shoes back on.  I walked back out and walked home shirtless.  Haha, why not? 🙂  it POURED all the way home and my umbrella did little to keep my dry, although it certainly helped. 
I passed only three people on the walk home, and I said "Good morning" to all of them, and all three said ‘Hello’ back.  That was nice 🙂  I felt my shoes filling up with water.  I have to wear those shoes to work tonight so that’s gunna be interesting.  I might just have to wear different shoes just for the next few shifts, because I don’t really wanna go to work wearing wet shoes, and I doubt they’ll dry by the time I have to work tonight.
I served the hottest Japanese customer last night!  Couldn’t believe how hot he was.  Normally I’m not attracted to Japanese guys at all, but he’s opened my eyes.  I took photos lol, but my phone connection’s usb doesn’t seem to be recognising my laptop 🙁  Not surprising considering the bottom of the side pockets on my bag were full of water by the time I got home, despite being mostly under the umbrella.  That’s how heavy the rain was.  I spent ages wiping over my credit cards with a towel when I got inside, as well as my phone which was inside the bag.  At least the phone seems to be working – just not the connection.  Ah well 🙂
