Bloodstained Heart

I have always found Darren Hayes’ music a bit hit and miss.  Back in the Savage Garden days, yes, everything was perfect – there was rarely a song I didn’t like the sound of.  Since he’s been a solo artist, he’s had some songs that are downright awesome and others that have just left me going ‘Hmmm yeah okay.’  His music mostly has a positive influence on me, and with a new album in the works he’s started releasing some new material.  His first single I actually thought was really ordinary.  This second one however I am absolutely loving.  I love how creative lyric video’s can be these days.  I’m loving the orchestral and synthesized effects going on in the climax (teehee) of this song.

That’s all I wanted to say 🙂  I like it when I find cool new music, but I never really document it.  Might not be your cup of tea, but I’ll probably be playing this one all week until I get over it.

I am so glad my baby daddy is putting new music out. This song is amazing! 🙂

You just reminded me i meant to post a video of…. that… song… ok well yep thx

I agree with you about Darren Hayes’ music [during his solo career] being very hit and miss. I like this one, though. And I loved Savage Garden, too. Their initial release will always be one of my favorite pop albums. It brings back a lot of memories. Also, what you said- “…it’d be awesome to have all the answers, but then we wouldn’t have all the questions.” I love that. 🙂

Meh… it’s okay. Did you see Kylie’s lyric video for “Put Your Hands Up”?
