Beat Members Night

After the fun of that afternoon, my friend Greg decided to come around and introduce me to his new boyfriend.  Everyone remember Greg?  The out-there Serbian guy who doesn’t take shit from anyone?

Yep, him.  I asked if they wanted dinner, but they just wanted coffee, so I boiled it before they arrived.  I asked my housemate, “Is it rude to boil the kettle before the guest arrives?” and he’s like, “Nah, it’s just being efficient.”

Greg arrived and I met his boyfriend, who btw is stunning.  No less for Greg I see haha.  I found out in small talk with him that he’s actually known Greg for as long as I have.

Greg is very intimidating.  Even now.  I look back at our history and wonder how the hell I used to hook up with that guy.  The last time, I even fucked him.  We are just COMPLETELY different people, and everything he says just comes across as intimidating.  It’s hard to explain, like it’s just him.  He’s very talkative, was a big part of both the Brisbane and Sydney AND Melbourne gay scenes, has a lot of lesbian friends, and just simply gives his opinion and doesn’t take shit.

Greg actually grabbed my phone at one point because he wanted to see pics of what Wayne looked like.  There’s no “No thanks” when it comes to Greg lol.  Next thing I know, he’s scrolling through ALL of my photos (shock horror!) and I was half panicking and half couldn’t even be fucked, because I’ve learnt to accept that this is just Greg.

My housemate was really funny and drunk though and had everyone laughing, and his friend was over as well, and she’s just as funny, so there was a group of five of us.  We were going out to The Beat for members night, but as predicted, we were too late and only made it in time for one free drink and no raffle ticket 🙁  I knew that would happen.  I told Greg we were going out, but he directed at me, “What are you going to do with your hair?”
I mumbled because I wasn’t even going to do anything with it LOL, I mean gee it was only a Wednesday night at the gay club haha.
Nope, out came the hair straightener, brush, product and hairspray and I sat in a chair in the lounge whilst Greg did my hair.  Qualified hairdresser back in the day lol.  God.

I actually hid my pair of jeans that he likes, because I know he wants them.  I’ve told him before that I like them now and he’s not getting them, and he brought them up again last night.  I told him he wasn’t getting them.

Greg and his boyfriend also drove us to the club, so that was nice, and I got out of the car and gave his boyfriend a hug, then around to hug Greg.  As different of a person as he is, I’ve seen his sweet side, but now I’m well on the other side of that, I’m back to seeing Greg, whilst I guess his boyfriend see’s the other more-hidden side lol.  His boyfriend was lovely by the way.  We actually had a good talk about straight guys (because Greg came across the pic of Jason in my phone lol – ie my dream straight guy) and both him and his boyfriend were saying it’s easier to get with them than I might think lol.  Then, they were trying to give me tips on how to do it haha.  Yeah, I dunno if it’d work for me.  I pretty much only have eyes for Jason if I was gunna go for a breeder.

Anyway, a few pics from the club before my laptop dies again.  I hate that I can’t figure out how to transfer pics on my tablet grr.

It was a pretty dead night, but my friend Matt was there (as usual) and Medea Monroe (the head drag-queen and host for the night) gave me a reach-across-the-table hug).  Some friends of Reece and I arrived later on, but after we’d already left (according to facebook), so that sucked!  Oh well.  Like ships in the night as they say.

Also, Liam left Brissy today 🙁  I can’t believe how obsessed and shy I am with him.  He’s off on his Aussie tour, so will be touring the country lol.  I was surprised to see him on Hornet, considering he deleted his Grindr, and that he wasn’t far from me, so part of me thinks he was staying at Brendon’s house, who is a guy who has become close with my housemate Reece lately and seems to be here every so often.  It’s nice seeing all these branching off connections through my housemates, but Liam’s always been that one step away haha, despite being a lovely guy on the rare occasion I have seen him in person, such as at Mardi Gras etc when we gave each other a hug.
I guess social media can be a bad thing when you find out stuff you don’t really need to know, but it’s kinda cool as well in the way our world has evolved.
