All Good! -: Edit

 It turns out I’d just mis-counted my till.  It actually balanced.  I left more money in there than I should’ve at the end of my shift, which I guess was gunna happen in my tired state.  I took over from Dave last night, who is the other grave-yarder who works on my nights that I have off, and he says when you finish work at 6am you just wanna get out of there and out of there fast.  🙂  Oh well it was a relief to be told it was a simple miscalcuation!

I finished watching Kyle XY Season 2.  Now I can move onto season 3, which is the only one I have on actual DVD, as the other 2 are torrent downloads.  Wow, that took forever to watch!  Each episode is around 50 minutes long and there are about 22 episodes in each season.  It’s not like I watched it every day though, so it did take me a while to get through them.  Still loving it.  Probably my third favourite show after Skins and United States Of Tara.  Speaking of Skins, season 4 premier’s in the UK on the 28th, which would be about now there I guess cos it’s the 29th here.

Omg drama at work last night.  There’s new delivery guys, both for the load and the milk, and I swear none of them know what they are doing!  I was ticking off the load on my load list last night and I realised hardly any of the load was what was on the sheet!  I’m pretty sure the idiot gave me another store’s stock instead of ours.  So I had to write down what we actually got and cross out what wasn’t there and was suppose to be.  And it was frustrating because it took forever, and it was a quite busy night as well!  

Then this morning when I get home, I get a phone call from my boss asking what’s going on with the milk.  I asked what she meant, and she said that there were dairy farmers crates left in the stockroom, full of milk, which by now, had gone hot.  I was like ‘Fuck!’

I remember signing for the milk when it came in, but it didn’t occur to me where he’s actually put it, and as I’d previously put away a different milk load, I guess my mind just didn’t think to look in there.  The other milk guy always put the crates in front of our fridge!  Not this guy!  He puts them out the back in our stockroom!  We don’t even HAVE a back chiller to put them in.  Pretty much every other store I’ve worked in has them, but not my current one.  When stuff comes in cold, we have to fill it to the fridges straight away.  I didn’t know he’d shoved it in there ("that’s what she said") until my boss told me this morning.  No biggie I don’t think, just a lot of wasted flavoured milk which I’m pretty sure we can get on credit.

It’s so weird.  When I worked at Woolies, you could only get credit on WHITE milk.  Here, you can only get credit on FLAVOURED milk!  Since when did that change?  It was actually against the law to mark down white milk in my first few years at Woolies, they were very strict on it.  And now to find it’s swapped is just crazy to me.

New housemate just came home for his lunch break.  Pretty cool he can do that.  We had a bit of a chat, which I think is the most we’ve spoken alone since he moved in on Saturday!  Pretty crazy he’ll have been here a week tomorrow, but I’ve been working so much I barely see him.  We were talking about which pool we wanna get for our back deck/backyard.  We are tossing up between two different ones.  This one is the bigger of the two, and would be good for house parties.  It is 3.6m by 1.95m by 55cm high

The coloured rings kinda give it a gay effect as well haha, which works well in this house!

I’m not sure what the other one is but he says it’s smaller than that one.  We don’t have room for an actual pool so setting this one up on the back deck seems to be a real hit of an idea for us.  Would be great to lay it in whilst watching the TV!  Just gotta see what Jeff thinks 🙂

Edit:  OMFG, a chick from work just rang me and told me they fired her!  All for not bringing in her police check!!  That spells dodgy as to me!  I need to find out the real story!
