As I gain life experience (and increased ability to meet my basic needs), I realize how unimportant a fancy car or name-brand clothing is.  I’d rather see poor people get computers or job training or cars, or nature being kept clean for us and for generations to come.  I wish I could heal all young womens’ insecurities about sex and their bodies so they can focus on becoming deeper people.  Aside:  after how many years of women’s liberation, why are we still seeing such awful levels of self-esteem in our girls!

So yeah.  From where I’m at right now, it makes the most sense to make money and donate, rather than to change jobs to a life of service.  Oddly, the section of society that appeals to me most is the Catholic nuns.  They know how to practice self-sacrifice and live to benefit others, I would find that very rewarding.  Yep, I’d be a great nun, if I could still remain slutty and atheist.  🙂
