Time change

I think I may have adjusted to the time change now.  (Well, it was only a month ago or more, wasn’t it?)  I base this on the fact that this morning I actually woke up and felt awake shortly before my alarm went off.  I believe yesterday was somewhat similar.  Not AS awake, but pretty close.  This is really what I like.  It is SO much nicer to just wake up than to have that alarm go off and then try to fight the mind/body to get it going.  Hopefully this will continue.

There’s still a bit of snow on our deck, but I believe it will be gone today.  Supposed to be close to 50f.

Yesterday went pretty well.  Again felt like I actually got a few things done on websites or what not.  It is so much nicer to feel like I’m accomplishing something as opposed to just wandering aimlessly in code hoping some miracle points out something I’m looking for.  That’s pretty much how I feel trying to wade through the TONS of stuff that I had nothing to do with that’s a bit above my current level of knowledge.

Ohh, I see a bit of sunlight coming in my window!  YAY!

I wonder if I could get a desk that sits like another 3′ higher…  Maybe a staircase to get up there…  Then I could like look out my window!  Oh, I can dream, can’t I?

You know what I really ought to do is just see if they’re ok with me working up on the third floor.  That’s where the kids used to have school.  It’s more or less a big open area.  Well, it’s divided in half I guess.  But like the entire size of the office here up on that floor and open.  And the ceilings are like 15′ tall.  And there are windows that are just about floor to ceiling along either end.  That would be cool to just sit up there and work in front of those windows…  Of course it gets quite hot up there in the summer…  Still…  It would be pretty awesome about now…  Plus I’d get more exercise going up and down there, especially if they had a few things I needed to do down here…

Oh well.  I can dream.  (:

Other than that?  My Florida relatives should be here today.  Mom doesn’t seem to think we’re doing anything tonight, so that pretty assuredly says to m that we’re doing something tomorrow night.  Though it also wouldn’t surprise me if she said "Oh, we are doing something tonight"  And there’s the possibility of Saturday Lunch I suppose.  I wouldn’t think so as much, but it is possible.  We also really need to figure out what’s up with our taxes.  She said she was going to stop over, so that would kinda have to be this weekend…  We’re giving blood Sat morning…  Not sure about lunch with the Floridians…  And then Sunday is Easter…  Umm, yeah, we’ll see what happens!
