Stolen survey

1. Do you open people’s medicine cabinets? Do you feel, on the whole, guiltier when you get caught or don’t get caught? Do you feel guilty about not feeling guilty enough when you don’t get caught?
Not normally.  I suppose if I somehow found myself in the bathroom with a bleeding hand and looking for a band-aid I might open it and see if there was one there, but I still think I’d ask first…  I think it would have to be something rather embarrassing that I was somehow trying to hide and looking for anything to help.  I would feel slightly guilty opening it I think…  I wouldn’t worry about not feeling guilty enough.

2. What was the first "adult" book you recall reading? (As opposed to kids books.)
Uhh…  I really don’t know where the distinction is, let alone remember much from those sorts of years…  Likely some piece of crap the school made us read that was a "Classic".  Which usually seems to mean depressing and depraved.

3. As a little kid, did you consciously act like a little kid?
No more than I do.  Well…  I mean I don’t consciously try to act like a kid just because someone would view it as childish and somehow I wanted to come across that way…  However, there was a time when I recall just acting more or less how I felt and it’s been a LONG time since I haven’t been worried about what other people think and at least to some degree buffer whatever I’m doing with those thoughts in mind…

4. As far as places you’ve been, if you are tallying the list for the sheer pleasure of a large number, do airports count?
Technically yes, but if someone were asking, and I bothered to list airports I would say as much.

5. What is the longest you’ve ever gone without speaking to another human? Do you think you could go a week?
Uhh…  I don’t really know if I’ve ever gone a day or not…  It’s possible I suppose…  Could I?  Hmm, I *think* I could go a week if I had enough desire…  We’d have to work out all the details.

6. For whom have you caused the greatest joy?
Hmm…  My parents?  Might be Shadow…

7. When is the last time you purchased pornography?
Hmm…  I’m thinking that’s got to be near a decade…

8. When was the last time you ran as fast as you possibly could?
Hmm, maybe the other day…  Maybe a few weeks ago…  Either way it was while playing with the dog.

9. Do you ever find yourself (particularly when dressed up) tallying up the total cost of all that you have on?
Nope.

10. Is "like" your vocal tic, or is it "you know"?
I don’t think either one…  I *think* I’d sooner say "you know", but I’m not sure…  You know?

11. In what grade in school did people begin to "date"? Were you in on this?
Yeah, I’d say that was around 5th grade…  I was aware of it.  I could only dream of being a part of it.  That didn’t happen till I was graduating high school.

12. If you had to dispose of a dead body, how would you?
Well, that’s rather unpleasant…  So far…  methods have involved…  Dropping in trash, hauling behind 4-wheeler to corner of field, burying in box in ground, just tossing outside…  I think that’s it…  It really comes down to the type of body, etc…

13. Who is your least judgmental friend?
Pfft, friend?  Well I mean there’s you guys, but in real life?  Probably Briana…

14. What is the first website you go to after you check your email?
Google Reader

15. What is the longest book or series of books you’ve ever read? Are you at a loss when you

finish?
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.  All…  6?  books of the trilogy.

16. Do you like watching flying helium balloons disappear into specks? Do you watch loved ones disappear on train platforms or in rearview mirrors? Do you watch as long as you can?
The only thing that comes to mind as enjoyable in this regard would be a loved one in a car I was racing and seeing them disappear in the mirror…

17. As a host, are you skilled and willing, skilled and unwilling, unskilled and willing, or unskilled and unwilling? In general, do you feel it’s your fault if someone is not having a good time?
Hmm…  I am probably not that great at being skilled…  Semi-willing…  And I would feel partly responsible…  I don’t have a lot of great experience and it would really depend on the people and the occasion…  I could put forth a lot of effort if it felt worthwhile.

18. If you opened the hood of your own smoking car, would you have any idea what you were looking at?
Yes.  I have done so.  It is not good when the oil line to your turbo develops a pinhole leak and sprays itself on to your exhaust.  It smokes a LOT.  And then even after it stops leaking it may catch fire and destroy your car.  Insurance would be better in that case.

19. How often do you Google yourself?
Occasionally when bored.  I think some of them are actually referenced to me at this point…

20. At what age was your first kiss? How often do you think of this? More than once a year?
I’d guess around birth to parents.  Don’t really think of it.

21. How often do you sleep till you wake? Is there anything better than climbing into bed and knowing this, knowing you’ll be sleeping an indefinite length?
Duh, I mean if I didn’t sleep until I awoke, I think that would be called: "Death".  So, pretty much every night.  There are a lot of things better.

22. If you could own a pro sports franchise, which sport would it be? Which team?
Rally Racing.  Maybe Subaru…  Maybe someone smaller.  We’d need details.

23. Who was your favorite teacher? Is s/he still where s/he was, still teaching?
Maybe band teacher…  Maybe first grade…  I believe the band teacher is still teaching elsewhere.

24. At what age did you cease taking baths or cease exclusively taking baths?
Well, I haven’t had any in a few years since I haven’t had a tub in that long.

25. What is your favorite month?
Hmm…  Maybe November since it’s my birth month…

ryn: 5th or 6th grade I was 10 or 11. My first kiss was with my first boyfriend, at 14.

I just might steal this. Have you written to Mr. M since we had that exchange about 4 years ago with him? I’ve been thinking about bugging him again.

ryn: lol I wasn’t even supposed to have a boyfriend until I was 16. Mom’s rules. Yeah, I really followed those. I had “boyfriends”. I just didn’t tell her about them.

I’d totally have to say that I’ve caused the most joy for my dog. I mean my parents are thrilled to have me but not as thrilled as my dog.

24 is an interesting one. There’s no shower in my house – just a bath.
