Finally Friday

 Well, I just saved the entry with just a title.  Now that would be a short one now wouldn’t it?

Anyway yes at least where I am at the moment it is now Friday.  

I am currently bouncing around things at work.  And apparently in about an hour I leave to head out to the bosses house because somehow Mrs boss’s computer which is full of outdated software because she doesn’t want to upgrade.  Like Wordperfect from the turn of the century and AOL and whatever else…  Well her sound died.  Or then apparently not, just for certain things.  And she has A volume control, but not the normal one that should be in there…  And then last night apparently boss went to fix.  He did some interesting things.  I’m not usually sure where or why he gets his ideas.  He basically just went into settings and told it to add devices that were vaguely sound related and apparently knocked out the network card in the process.  So…  Who knows what the heck is going on with this beast or if I can get it working without just reformatting the thing which is all but NOT an option given the lack of desire for updates…  Did I mention that I don’t believe she backs anything up?  I think that’s over security concerns.  I have issues with people whose "safe" line is WAY too far over…  Dunno.  Anyway, we shall see what that brings.

And for that matter I usually leave at noon.  We’ll see if I get that Oh and his laptop that he’s somehow knocked off of wifi and apparently he went ahead and rewired his access point in a way to make sure that it doesn’t work(he didn’t do that intentionally, but he saw a port that said "internet" so he felt that something should be plugged in there.  Unfortunately it’s not set up that way where it’s being used).

Anyway, think I can get it done in an hour?  I suppose anything is possible!  If not, just stay longer!  (I’m paraphrasing, his exact words were something like "just take time off next week").  Luckily this shouldn’t really be much of an issue.  However, had I actually made plans(like that eye exam that I haven’t had for about a decade) that would be more of a pain.  I love these last minute things.

After that?  Who knows!

Tomorrow should be visiting shelter, mantle ordering and lunch.

Then next week is Thanksgiving insanity!  (That’s where we celebrate…  Dang I forgot…  Let me look it up…  Yeah, as is usual, it has a long and sorted history.)  Anyway, I shall celebrate the giving of Thanks!  And in that spirit…
