-I worked. I hate having to be the babysitter for things I can’t help. In point yesterday when Boss came back and told me to fix some Paypal issue that one of his other projects is having. Umm… Hello? Paypal is saying that this other person is creating accounts and wants to see invoices and what not… There’s nothing I can do about that. SHE needs to address it depending on what she did and with whatever information she has… Bah. In the end I gave her a call and she seemed to have it under control. Bossman just doesn’t know how to deal with things like that other than to tell me to do stuff when he spends as much time worrying about it himself he could just have it done or whatever… Bah again I say.
-I have my brother’s old XM radio that I listen to in the garage occasionally. He took it off his service years ago, but apparently it was off at the right time when the kill codes were sent so it still works (or at least until some inopportune time when they decide to send the kill code and I have the radio on…) So I thought, Hey, maybe this trip would be a decent time to throw it in the car. Sometimes there’s not a lot of radio around there…(Honestly I don’t remember for sure, though I do recall some Canadian stations up there…) So last night I went and dug out the stuff for putting it in a car. Now I realized why my brother got rid of it. He had two docks and one had a loose power connector and the other a loose audio connector. Just about to the point of being useless in a moving vehicle. And, well I’ll be darned but I did actually manage to get the thing apart and re-solder a few connections on each one and get them working. This is particularly amazing because my soldering skills suck pretty hardcore… (:
-Otherwise I think/hope we’re pretty much ready for the trip…
-Tomorrow? A Decade Under The Influence…
