-I did in fact leave work at roughly half day and not a huge deal of mess in the afternoon.

-Actually I watched Kick-Ass Friday afternoon.  And the title was very aptly named as far as I’m concerned.  I really loved it.

-We got mulch Saturday morning and then I mowed the lawn.  Tried mowing the further out trails with the rider.  Still a bit too rough for that.  I caught a stump and sheered another pin.  So I put the new blades on and it will have to stay in the nicer section now and I’ll just have to use the push mower on the rougher trails still.

– We stopped over to the amish guy to have him make some trim for our light boxes and for some boards that Sara’s friend needs for a bar.

-Twas a late night(for me) we didn’t eat dinner till after 9.

-Sunday was spent mostly trying to figure out what we’re doing on this thousand islands trip, or rather what, where, when, how, etc…

-Monday was pretty much work all day.  I did more or less finalize our hotel reservations.

-It’s nice and warm.  Well, ok it’s 60F(actually it says 54F now), but that’s warm enough for me to have my little window open and it was nice listening to the rain.

-Need to make sure I’ve finalized most everything else for the trip tonight as:

-Working tomorrow, then heading up to Syracuse after work to stop for the night and the journey begins!

-I think it will be good.

-We haven’t taken…  Well, I guess much of ANY overnight in quite some time, and I’m not even sure we’ve been gone for more than a night since we’ve owned this house, about 2.5 years now.  Just need to make sure we remember everything!

-Somewhat trying to balance my OCD and wanting to relax.  

-Ideally I’d just like to "wing it" entirely, but I know that wouldn’t work well.  Mainly because I don’t want to just pop into a Hotel and spend $150-200 or get some tiny room, or find out they don’t have rooms or that it’s scummy or what not…  Nor do I want to spend hours looking while we’re on vacation.

-So I think I’m at a decent place now…  I have motels reserved and a general idea of when/where we’re stopping and about 3 things planned to do, and then there should be time here and there to kinda wing it in-between…

-I know it will go quicker than it should, but it will be good.  (:
