Chapter 8. The Other.

The boy sat on the highest tip of the roof, his bright blue eyes shining in the moonlight. And his long, spikey blonde hair blowing in the wind. He could see them running, looking for him. One of them blew a whistle, and pointed a lantern in different directions, Directing his men in different ways. The man with the lantern was left alone. The boy saw his chance. He took hold of his Buster Blade and jumped down from the roof silently, and quickly as a shadow, behind the man with the lantern. The man turned as he only heard the light footsteps and saw the faint gray swish of the boys blade. The man fell, the lantern shattered. The boy was gone into the darkness of the night before others came to respond to the noise.
