8-Bit Chronicles Pt.1

>You cautiously divert your eyes town to one small sentence at the bottom of the paper. "The bird’s song has sung."

>This puzzles you, as it being a riddle, it doesn’t make much sense. You look up from the paper, and are horrified to find that you’re not in your house anymore. You’re not even sure if it’s still Earth. The sky is blood red and covered in smog. The land is wasted and there are craters everywhere. The rocky sand beneath your feet is the same colour as the sky, but darker. A shiver goes down your spine as you shove out the curiosity of what it could possibly be made of.

>Ahead of you, are three pathways. One that leads to the west, one that leads to the North, and one that leads to the East. You can see what looks like a castle at the end of the West Path. You faintly make out footprints going down the East Path, but you’re not sure how far they go on for or if they’re friendly. The North path looks much more beaten, as if it’s been traveled on constantly.
