Surgery/hospital/Interview
I went to the ER Easter Sunday. I wasn’t feeling well, and still could not hold anything down. They put me on IV antibiotics for infection, nausea, and pain. I got home at 3am. I was suppose to be at work at 8am. When I got up this morning I was so dizzy I could barely stand; it was all the medications they gave me through IV. I called in once again. The good news is I have a doctor’s note.
I got a call from Louisville, KY again for an interview. I called back and the store director asked if he could interview me in 30 minutes. I said, "Absolutely" I had an interview for a management position. I feel good about this, because I know the store director. I helped train him in the Texas store, and also saw him in the Ohio store. I am excited about the prospect of being able to work for him, his people, and his store.
However, I have fallen in love with Ohio. I like the people here. The thing is if I am in Louisville, Ky I will be in the south region of stores again, like I was in Texas. I will be moving up with the company, and I will be an hour or so away from Tiffany my oldest.
I just ate, and realized I am not ready for that yet, but I do feel much better. I plan on going back to work tomorrow.
My friend Kacey’s daughter is staying over. It is her spring break. My kids had spring break last week. Anyway, I keep getting distracted. I have been writing this for over two hours. I should really go. I will try to write more later.
