This is not a store position. This is a district position. Of course, it will most likely mean a move back to Texas if I am given the position. The more interviews I get the more experienced I am at giving my answers, and the easier things become. I also learn from the interviews what is important to learn at my store.
One more thing — Today I was asked to help in Camo. I don’t think anyone even noticed my help today, but I was able to help a customer and that is what mattered. Oh, make that two more things… I wasn’t at the morning meeting, because I actually went in at 11 when I was suppose to go in, but Jen someone I work with came to me and said, "Way to go on the Voice of the Customer" That is the Survey you fill out on the bottom of a receipt. Apparently, they acknowledged me in front of all the morning employees. Someone filled one out and wrote, "Kimberly made an angry customer a happy customer and I will do all my fishing and hunting at Cabela’s from now on" At least that is what she said. I don’t remember having an angry customer, lol. I love all my customers and treat them all as I want to be treated, even if they are in a bad mood. I know it isn’t because of something I did so I just smile and try to make their day.
