Thanksgiving

Well here it is another Turkey day. The sun is TRYING to shine which makes me happy. It’s also NOT freezing this year which is also very good!

So, updates updates updates. I’ve got nothing really.

Oh wait, yes I do.

That family I contacted, yeah that is them. I’ve been in email contact with one of my half-brothers for about a week now. He’s very enthusiastic. He’s always wanted a sister and now he has two. My other half-brother is skeptical and wants actual proof or confirmation from our father. Well, my father is terminally ill with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Don spoke to him briefly but got no firm confirmation because his mother (who DOES know about me) was nearby. He said he was going to try again possibly today if his dad looked up for that type of conversation. I told him that he should tell our dad not to worry that I don’t need to have a relationship with him and I wasn’t looking for anything from him. Don said that it would probably help him knowing that. So we’ll see where that goes. If he won’t fully admit it to the brothers, then I’m going to search my mom’s attic for the paternity test (she said it’s up there somewhere).
