Still here

Bulleted for ease of writing.

  • I got an iPod Touch. LOVING it.
  • Nathan fixed my older sister’s laptop. She said that we could keep it (after we offered it back to her). WHOOO! Now we are back up to 2 computers for 4 users! LOTS better.
  • Work is still work and very annoying.
  • I joined the St. Louis Zoo. We get 6 parking passes (YES!) and a bunch of special passes. It cost $80, but if I’d bought everything separate (not including the food and store discounts), it would have cost me $160. So, a good deal!
  • I got some really great yarn on sale at JoAnne’s Fabrics today. 🙂
  • I’m a granny square nut. I make 3 or 4 at work every day. And I work on my really big one in the evenings.
  • I’ve written a bit more on my book. Still working on it.
  • This laptop is missing the 3 key. The button still works, there’s just no key there on top. So I sink my finger into the hole and press the button. Very annoying, but it’s a free computer.
  • I went to lunch with my friends Russ and Jonathan on Friday. It was great. At one point or another during the meal, we all laughed until we cried. I lost it when Russ did something completely innappropriate for a restaraunt (part of a one-eared elephant impression – don’t ask). Then Jonathan said something about midget porn (don’t flame me, I didn’t say it) that made Russ choke on his soda so bad he had to get up and use the restroom to spit it out. That made Jonathan laugh until he cried. And then Russ lost it because Jonathan lost it. 🙂 I love those guys. It’s like having 2 older brothers who love to hang out with their little sister. We’re all within 6 years of each other in age, but I am the youngest and a girl, so it’s fun.

Oooh, I love my iPod Touch although I really use it more to entertain the Things when we’re out, rofl! There’s some free kids apps they adore.
