Yesterday Was Incredible…and Tiring!
So, yesterday, like I mentioned at the end of my last post, I went to the zoo with my friend Rachael and went looking at bridesmaid and wedding dresses afterwards. It was a BLAST! Rachael loves the fact that she got to pet a real live shark. Oh and we went to see meerkats and giraffes and lions and tigers and seahorses! All sorts of animals! Oh and can’t forget the sea otters! The baby elephants were soooo cute
After that, we went to eat at Bertolini’s in the Circle Center Mall! I LOVE their Italian sodas. And I basically love anything they serve there. Everything just tastes unbelievably good. By the time we got done it was 3:50pm….and we had a 30 minute drive to get to our bridal appointment at 4pm! So, we called them and told them we would be a little late…and on Sundays, the bridal superstore closes at 5pm. Sooo, we got there before it closed, but only had enough time to look around at the dresses. Rachael and I didn’t get to try anything on 🙁 But I was sooooo so so happy to find out that the dress that I really wanted to get was only 740 dollars! I mean, I know that sounds REALLY expensive, but for a wedding dress, that is a good deal. I honestly thought that the dress would have been like 2,000 dollars or something, but no, it’s not even 1,000 dollars. It’s 740 freakin dollars. My dress will be nothing compared to the money that will probably be spent on the actual wedding ceremony and the reception. All that is going to cost probably well over 2,000 dollars 🙁
I know I’m a dork, because I probably won’t be getting married for another year or two probably. Only because I am still in school and I have so many financial benefits while going to school. I just get so excited about it. I like being able to plan for it now, or think about it. I love the wedding dress I have chosen, and I’m sure I can find elegant bridesmaid dresses to fit Rachael and Katie D. and whoever else I choose to be my bridesmaid, and my maid of honor, Kate. Rachael and Katie are coming to Indy two weeks from now for another appointment at the Bridal SuperStore! This time we will get to try stuff on! INCLUDING MY WEDDING DRESS!
After looking around, we went to GreaTimes to play some Pump It Up NX. The machine really sucked, that’s all that needs to be said. The music was turned down really low, so you could barely hear it, and the pad didn’t respond very well.
That pretty much ended the day! Today I am going to the park to kick around some soccer balls with my fiance, Mike, and his friend Steven, the same guy that went to the comedy show with us 🙂 Goodbye for now!
