Back to the kitchen

My big man Snow has made some amazing progress in the last week, so I decided to keep his collar off for little bits at a time

I did that once in the past, and he put his big puma like paw right in his eye, causing it to weep again

Ooooookay

Now it seems that the weeping has stopped, he spends an inordinate amount of time grooming himself (Mar said on Sunday he gacked up 5 times, mostly hairballs she said…well, duh with all the grooming he’s doing, its no wonder)

So the first test was passed when he went for several hours collar free

Then I left it off him all day

Then all night

Flying colors

So Sunday, after I got back from a meeting (more on that later), I started the process of breaking down all the stuff that was in the bathroom to make him comfortable and moved him back into the kitchen

Yes, I know, its weird to have a cat living in the kitchen, and yet that’s where he lives

Well, now we have two cats in there because his wee little bro Lekso has now got his big brother back, and they curl up on the floor and the butcher block together and its the cutest thing in the world

I had a dream that I went into the kitchen to do something and saw that his eye was weeping again…I got up in the middle of the night to check and it was fine

I am sure that I will have moments like that as long as he’s got a partial injury

Just so glad that I can sit in the living room and talk with my Kitchen Puma again
